Being the first child has always come with many responsibilities, depression most times is now a common things for us females. Imagine being pressurized to set a good example to your siblings and you can't do anything. It hurtful. I've always wanted to go viral on TikTok somehow or because a famous writer. I most certainly don't want to end up poor, it's funny how friends you'd sacrifice alot for end up being the one stabbing you.
"Hazel!!!! Come downstairs right now and make yourself useful to your siblings" Hazel mom yelled her name downstairs interrupting her from writing up in her diary on her phone. A Frown formed up between her brows as she sighed and hissed while dragging herself downstairs.
'It is so hard to be left alone??? It's just a month from now...I'll be in College, the good thing Is, that it so far away from home. I'd love to see how my mom makes me return back home and reminding me of the one mistake I made.' She thought with a grin.
Mistake???? Hazel had a dirty high school memories. She was once or still is a very intelligent and smart girl but so many things has occupied her mind, so many regrets. Hazel was an addict and still is although her mom doesn't really know much on this. She attended a new high school which was popularly known as Flourish State high school Filipino.
She made new friends and she thought it was all good. Well you could say Hazel didn't have the looks at that time or the shape. She looked like a piece of junk. Her teachers didn't like her for some reason, which is sad for a new bee probably because it's a school for governor and senator kids and she coincidentally got admission in there so they looked down on her because she's not worth it but hazel didn't care. She earned it with her high marks so she didn't let it get to her that much. She had three friends whom where Divine, Irene , Juliet and Hawal. She gisted her mom everything that very day and her mom was indeed happy she made new friend's.
Everything was fine but then things suddenly changed in less than a week between her friends, that bad they set her up.
' Your Friends said you an idiot, you don't deserve this school, not for less privileged like you.' one of her male classmates threw a paper for her to read. Hazel stared at her so called friends In anger and replied to the boy 'I don't if it's true but whoever said it about me is a fuckin bastard' She wrote it down and threw it at the boy which was they used and set her up. The boy took it to Divine, Irene and Juliet. The three heartless friends took it to Miss Lily, Now miss Lily was already giving Hazel a hard time. Why would a teacher hate a 3 days old new student huh??.
Miss Lily took it up and knelt Hazel in front of hundred plus student and flogged her despite Hazel crying and saying they started it first, The three didn't careless and just kept saying "Why would you call us a bastard, such vulgar language.. you really have some guts" Irene said as the main leader of their girls group. Everyone felt pity on the new girl. Hazel wished the earth would open up and cover her up from this embarrassment.
At Closing time, a boy names Samuel went to console her. "i told you those three girls are evil, try avoiding them. They are not as good as you think they are" He said patting her. Now Samuel was the most handsome boy in the class, he had this beautiful set of eyes like the ocean. She wanted to swim in it, his lips were as red as strawberry and his skin was so beautiful. He was tall and funny but he also didn't like her because Hazel was uhm uglyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. He was rather head over heels for a girl named Aisha. A black girl whom parents were Influential. She was actually beautiful and her down lips had this beautiful shade of pink. She was very intelligent and smart, very smallish but playful and everyone guy wanted to be her boyfriend.
At exam period, the last day to be precise Irene couldn't endure her hate and confront Hazel saying "If you die don't call my name" on a very rainy day.
Hazel froze and could only hold back her tears because those words were so cruel.
Her mom refused to change her school because she blamed hazel for insulting her friends and apologizing to Irene on the very day of the set up instead of rebelling against them. So she could only endure for two more years. Luckily for her those three friends travelled abroad and she relaxed a bit in the high school.
But funny enough that was when she was introduced to another deceitful lifestyle like drugs, alcohol, disobedience and aggressiveness.
In the end her new set of friends at her final year planned a gang rape just because she cut them off and decided to start afresh, luckily someone leaked the information and she avoided her graduation.
