Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Realm of Vitalis Arcanum

The vast world of Vitalis Arcanum was a land of endless possibilities, a realm where five great continents sprawled across the horizon, each home to countless nations and civilizations. The lands were divided into kingdoms, empires, free regions, alliances, and tribal territories, each with its own unique struggles and ambitions.

Among the many power struggles in this realm, magic and knighthood stood as the two most influential forces.

Magician Levels

Magicians in Vitalis Arcanum were classified by their mastery over the magical circles, each representing a significant leap in power and control over the arcane.

Circle 1: Apprentice – A beginner who can only manipulate basic spells, drawing energy from their surroundings.

Circle 2: Novice – Adept in basic elemental control and spellcasting.

Circle 3: Adept – The magician can now summon mid-tier spells and control elemental forces with more precision.

Circle 4: Journeyman – A seasoned spellcaster capable of higher-tier spells and elemental fusion.

Circle 5: Master – Able to manipulate multiple elements at once and perform complex, high-level spells.

Circle 6: Grandmaster – One of the most powerful magic users, capable of bending reality itself in small ways.

Circle 7: Archmage – A force to be reckoned with, their magic can affect large-scale changes in the environment.

Circle 8: High Archmage – A magician of almost mythical power, capable of manipulating time and space.

Circle 9: Magister – The pinnacle of magical ability, with the ability to manipulate the very laws of nature and reality.

Knight Stages

Knights, too, were trained to harness the power of mana, focusing not on magic but on physical prowess, drawing mana into their bodies and using it to augment their strength, speed, and combat abilities. Their abilities were divided into nine distinct stages:

Stage 1: Initiate – The knight begins to sense and draw mana from the environment.

Stage 2: Novice – The knight can now convert mana into physical energy, increasing strength.

Stage 3: Apprentice – The knight can channel mana into weapons, enhancing their durability and power.

Stage 4: Journeyman – The knight learns to create defensive auras around themselves.

Stage 5: Warrior – The knight's combat skills are enhanced to superhuman levels, and they can summon elemental aura for attack.

Stage 6: Champion – Mastery over aura allows the knight to create powerful offensive and defensive techniques.

Stage 7: Hero – The knight can manipulate and form multiple layers of aura for increased offense and defense.

Stage 8: Warlord – The knight can manifest their aura in devastating forms, changing the battlefield itself.

Stage 9: Legendary Knight – The knight becomes an almost unstoppable force, able to command mana and aura like a true elemental avatar.

Silver Crest Kingdom

The story begins in the Silver Crest Kingdom, located in the northwestern region of the Western Continent. A land blessed with fertile soil and strategic sea connections, the kingdom was rich in resources, making it a prize for any who wished to claim it.

However, the kingdom's borders were contested by powerful forces. To the west, the Solaris Empire sought to expand its reach, eager to claim the fertile lands for its growing population. To the south, the Marquis of the Kingdom was determined to gain control of the region, bolstering his own power within the Silver Crest Kingdom. The land had become a volatile place, with both internal and external forces eager to claim what they believed was rightfully theirs.

Amidst this turmoil, the Viscounty of the Silver Crest Kingdom had become a focal point of conflict. The local nobility had long held control over the region, and with the power vacuum left by the death of the former ruler, both the Solaris Empire and the Marquis sought to control the land and its vast potential.

Ravan Asura, the new ruler of the Viscounty, found himself at the heart of this struggle. With fertile lands and a sea connection that could make or break alliances, his family's holdings were both a blessing and a curse, with rivals closing in from all sides. The future of the land—and perhaps his own fate—would depend on the decisions he made in the days to come.
