Chapter 1: The Forgotten Son
Shiro Ōtsutsuki opened his eyes, his body trembling as he lay on the cold, barren earth. His mind was clouded, but a single thought burned within him—Mother. He tried to move, but his limbs felt heavy. He was weak, far weaker than he remembered.
He gritted his teeth. Those traitors…
Hagoromo and Hamura—his so-called "brothers"—had stolen everything from him. They had turned against their own mother, sealing her away and casting Shiro into the abyss of time. The pain of betrayal burned deep within his soul. But what hurt more was the absence of Kaguya. She was the only one who ever mattered. The only one he ever loved.
Shiro clenched his fists. Something was wrong. His power—the godlike strength he once wielded—was gone. He closed his eyes, searching within himself, only to find shackles wrapped around his very essence. Hagoromo… he sealed me.
A bitter laugh escaped his lips. "So this is how it is?" he muttered. "Even in victory, you still fear me, brother?"
A surge of rage coursed through him, but he forced himself to calm down. Power or not, he was still an Ōtsutsuki. He would find a way to reclaim what was his. He would shatter these chains and return to Kaguya's side.
And then—he would have his revenge.
Standing up, he gazed at the empty sky above him. The world had changed. But it didn't matter. He would carve his own path, one of blood and vengeance.
Hagoromo. Hamura. You stole Mother from me.
For that, you will suffer.
