In the world of Nuwan, there was a vast and beautiful forest surrounded by hills. In that forest, many animals, beasts, and birds lived. The sun bathed the forest with its warm rays. The wind was whispering quietly everywhere, and the sounds made by the beasts (or calls) of the animals could be heard.
Across the whole forest flowed a beautiful river, and near that river stood a tall tree. It stood tall, towering above the other trees. Juicy and ripe fruits hung on its branches. And on that same tree was a bird's nest. In that nest was a little white bird. The bird was standing with its eyes closed and wings clasped together. The bird's posture made it look as if it was praying.
"The God of otherworldly knowledge,
And the one who produces miracles,
The Great Vasudev,
I pray to you."
Yes, that bird was none other than Ren praying to himself
"A month ago, when he arrived in this world, he discovered he could gain power from prayers and tried praying to himself. Thankfully, it worked.
Every time he prayed to himself, he felt a trickle of energy entering his soul. Besides sleeping, exploring, and eating, he had been diligently praying to himself. He prayed multiple times a day in the beginning, but after discovering he would only receive energy twice a day, he started praying only twice a day. He prayed once in the morning and once in the evening.
When he first thought of praying to himself, he had no idea how to do it.
Thankfully, one of his favorite novels provided him with inspiration.
He possessed knowledge from another world and could produce miracles. He used this knowledge to create a praying method or some lines at least…"

Vasudev was just a random name he had thought of.
As Ren finished praying, he silently muttered to himself,
"It feels weird to pray to myself. I wonder how that guy from novel did it."
During the past month, Ren had gathered some information from the system.
According to the system, this planet was called Nuwan and was at least twice as big as Earth.
Nuwan (this planet) was divided into two parts. In one of the two parts…"

But in the other part dwelled the creatures that were inhumanely wrong, vile and dangerous.
500 years ago, the whole fore some alien reasons, the universe itself had stirred (shook), causing changes both good and bad.
The good change was that humans and some other intelligent races received the system, which caused life to flourish and improve for the better.
On the other hand, there was the worst change. Countless vile and dangerous creatures appeared out of nowhere, killing billions and taking over half the planet.
Humans, Dragonets, and other races joined hands to push back these creatures.
After years of struggles, at the edge of that century(Called: The times of nightmare), those creatures were finally defeated and were imprisoned on the other side of the world.
That part of the planet was called the worst half A.K.A. Darklands.
