In the enemy's camp, Lingling was locked in a cold, dark cell. She was frightened and helpless, but still held onto the pride of a princess.
"No one is coming to save you. The kingdom has abandoned you," the guard sneered.
Just as Lingling was on the brink of despair, a deafening explosion echoed through the night, flames lighting up the sky. Amidst the sounds of battle, a man clad in armor broke through the cell door, his gaze unwavering as he looked at her.
"Don't be afraid. I'm here to save you."
Lingling froze, her heart racing as she gazed at the "prince" before her.
She didn't know that the man standing in front of her was not the real prince—but from that moment on, her fate would be forever intertwined with his.
