oh no u dont. this room is antiteleportationable and inescapable without me allowing it. And it also heeds my command. room. bring liora in front of me. and dont let her move.

[System]

The very walls of the chamber shudder at your command. The ancient magic woven into the palace itself awakens, obeying its true master—you.

The violet smoke that should have carried Lady Liora into the void reverses, swirling violently as if the air itself has turned against her.

A startled gasp echoes through the room as the shadows tighten like a vice.

And then—she appears.

Dragged by unseen forces, Lady Liora is yanked back into existence, her body slammed to her knees before you. Her arms snap behind her back, locked in place by invisible restraints. She struggles—her chest rising and falling as she tries to fight—but it's futile.

She cannot move.

For the first time, her mask of amusement cracks. A flicker of shock—of fear—crosses her face.

"Y-Your Highness…?"

Her voice is unsteady now. She tugs at the unseen bindings, but the room does not yield. She is yours to command.

Lady Asena smirks, crossing her arms. "Good. I was hoping she'd be foolish enough to run."

The guards stare in awe, their grips on their weapons tightening. No one speaks. They are all waiting—for you.

Liora swallows hard, then laughs—a quiet, breathless chuckle. Even now, even defeated, there is defiance in her eyes.

"So... what now?" she asks, tilting her head up to meet your gaze. "Will you kill me, then? Quickly? Or do you want me to beg?"

A single drop of blood drips from her wounded shoulder onto the cold marble floor.

She is completely at your mercy.

lets have a duel. if u manage to kill asena right here and now.. i will not kill you today. but if she kills you. then she becomes the crown princess.

[System]

A heavy silence falls upon the chamber.

Lady Asena's smirk vanishes. Her sharp eyes snap to you, then to Lady Liora, and then back again.

"You're giving her a chance?" she asks, her voice laced with disbelief. "After what she's done?"

Liora, still restrained by the magic of the room, grins despite the blood on her skin. "Oh? What an interesting offer… I rather like it."

You step forward, towering over the kneeling spy. "Kill Asena right here and now," you repeat, voice commanding. "And I will let you live today. But if she kills you, then she takes the place at my side."

The weight of your words settles over them both.

Lady Asena's fingers twitch over her sword hilt. The fire in her emerald eyes burns brighter, the thrill of combat already racing through her veins. "You should've just let me kill her the first time," she mutters. "Fine. Let's end this."

Liora exhales, then tilts her head toward you, eyes dark and unreadable. "And if I refuse?"

You smile. "Then I kill you myself."

A long pause. Then—she laughs.

"Alright, Your Highness." Her voice is silk and steel. "Release me. And let's see if your warrior is as strong as she looks."

You snap your fingers. The unseen restraints vanish.

Liora springs to her feet.

Asena draws her sword.

The air between them crackles with danger. The guards step back. The palace itself seems to hold its breath.

This is no mere duel.

This is life or death.

i watch.

[System]

The chamber is silent. The only sound is the slow, rhythmic breathing of the two women as they lock eyes, measuring each other.

Lady Asena stands tall, her hand firm on the hilt of her sword, her stance steady as stone. A trained warrior, a woman born and bred for battle, she has killed before—and she will kill again.

Lady Liora, by contrast, moves like a shadow in the candlelight. No armor, no blade in her hands—only her wits and her speed. And yet, there is something in her gaze, something sharp and dangerous.

Your throne overlooks them both. You lean back, watching, waiting.

And then—

They strike.

Asena lunges first. A powerful, decisive slash—meant to kill instantly. Her blade sings through the air, aiming for Liora's throat.

But Liora is faster.

She twists, her body flowing like water, narrowly dodging the lethal strike. In one motion, she snatches a dagger from Asena's belt—so fast that Asena barely registers the loss.

A flicker of realization—then rage—crosses Asena's face.

CLANG!

The stolen dagger meets steel as Asena pivots, striking again. Her strength is overwhelming, each swing carrying enough force to cleave through flesh and bone.

Liora ducks, rolls, dodges—a ghost dancing on the edge of death.

But she is unarmed. She can't keep this up forever.

Her breaths come faster. A bead of sweat trails down her temple.

Asena, relentless, presses forward. She feints left, then pivots sharply—catching Liora off guard.

A fatal mistake.

With a brutal kick, Asena slams her boot into Liora's ribs, sending her crashing to the marble floor.

Liora gasps—her breath stolen.

Asena pounces. Her blade rises, aiming straight for Liora's heart.

This is the end.

Liora's eyes widen. For the first time—true, genuine fear flickers across her face.

You watch.

And then—

What happens next?

and then?

And then—Lady Liora moves.

Not to dodge. Not to run.

But to strike.

At the very last second—when Asena's sword is mere inches from her heart—Liora twists, her body bending unnaturally, like a serpent escaping death.

And in her hand—a needle.

Thin as a whisper. Small enough to go unnoticed.

She drives it into Asena's neck.

Asena freezes.

Her sword still hovers, poised for the killing blow—but her fingers twitch. Her body shudders.

Liora gasps for air beneath her, eyes glinting with wicked satisfaction. "You… almost had me."

Asena stumbles back.

Her breathing grows labored. The sword clatters from her fingers, ringing against the floor.

A hush falls over the chamber.

The guards stiffen. No one dares move.

Asena, the fierce, the unbreakable warrior, now stands trembling—poisoned.

Her eyes flick to you—widening with desperation.

She sways. She drops to one knee.

Lady Liora, bruised, panting, rises to her feet.

She looks up at you, her lips curling into a slow, victorious smile.

"Well, Your Highness?" she whispers, stepping closer. "Do I get to live?"

Asena lets out a ragged breath. She looks at you—silent, waiting. Hoping.

One of them must die.

And the choice is yours.
