Chapter 1 - A Start

February 16, 2025 – The Guy Who Couldn't Do One PushupI am weak, lazy, and can't even do a pushup.

This will be my day-to-day diary—where I write about my day, what I did, what I liked, and what I hated.

Today, I woke up but didn't get out of bed for a while. I watched some videos—mostly useless ones. The only good one was about something productive, and I appreciate that at least. 🙂

After that, I sat on the roof for a while, came back, and used my phone. I didn't go out. I didn't do anything worth mentioning.

Even though important exams are coming, I did not study today. 😥

Time passed. Dinner came. I ate, sat for a bit, then went to "study"—but ended up using my phone again. 😕

At least, this time, I watched some good videos—on charisma, communication, and a guy explaining what to do if you're ambitious but lazy.

These, along with the book I'm currently reading, made me think: I should do things that are actually good for me.

The book is How to Win Friends and Influence People, and I highly recommend it. I'll write more about it in later updates.

But I know the thing that would solve most of my problems—exercise.

I was about to sleep, telling myself I'd exercise in the morning... but then I remembered I've done this before and never actually followed through.

So, instead, I got up.

I planned a 5-10 minute workout and ended up exercising for 30-40 minutes.

still can't do a pushup—my body is weak from not exercising, and my weight makes it even harder.

But I did something.

Walking, jogging, and half-sprinting while standing and sitting in a position that put pressure in my shin.Wall pushups and holding a pushup position (on stairs and against the wall).Walking up and down the stairs. It wasn't much, but it was a start. And I'm proud of that. 👏

Afterward, I thought about sharing this publicly. Writing about my journey every day will help me stay consistent and motivated.

As a reward, I treated myself to a little snack—and it tasted way better after exercising.

It's 11:51 PM now, and I'm finishing this before I sleep.

What I Liked About Today:✅ I took initiative.

✅ I focused on the positive more than the negative.

What I Hated About Today:❌ I didn't study.

❌ I used my phone too much.

Tomorrow is a new day.
