After a strange space fluctuation, Jaco and Tights saw that the place around them had changed a lot. In an instant, they were no longer on Earth. They had been teleported to the Galaxy Patrol Headquarters—a place that Jaco knew well.
"What kind of magic is this? It's amazing!" Jaco said.
"This is his teleportation ability!," Tights explained. She was used to traveling with Link. With a friendly smile, Link turned and said, "Mr. Jaco, please take me to see the Galactic King."
Jaco frowned. "Link, please do not get any bad ideas. This is the Galaxy Patrol Headquarters! If you act carelessly, the Patrol will not let you leave."
"Don't worry," Link replied calmly. "I am really here to talk about working together."
Link knew he must act carefully. He remembered that the Galaxy Patrol had a powerful warrior—someone truly strong.
His name is Merus; he is considered the most powerful soldier within the Galactic Patrol, with his strength stemming from his training as an Angel in development.
With Link's current strength, causing any trouble would be like asking for trouble.
The three of them walked to the King's office. Along the way, some officers looked surprised.
"Hey, Jaco, didn't you just come back from Earth?" one officer asked.
"Where is your spaceship?" another asked.
Tights giggled. "Jaco, you sure know how to make an entrance!"
Jaco smiled proudly, "Of course—I am a super elite!"
Soon they reached the Galactic King's office. Although Tights had known Jaco for many years, this was her first time seeing his boss. To her shock, the real Galactic King was a green octopus wearing a crown!
"Jaco, why are you back? And who are these visitors?" the Galaxy King demanded. Jaco saluted and whispered in the king's ear,
"Saiyan?" The king trembled a little. A guard quickly moved to press a button.
Link looked at the guard and, with a quick burst of power, sent him to the floor. "Do not worry, everyone. Even though I am a Saiyan, I come in peace." Says the man who injured the guard.
The Galactic King looked hard at Link and asked, "You—what do you want?"
"I have come to ask that the Saiyans work with the Galaxy Patrol," Link said firmly.
The king looked confused. "Work? What do you mean?"
Link continued, "Since I took control, the Saiyans have stopped plundering and invading planets. But training in a gravity room can only do so much. To grow stronger, we need real battles. Just like the Saiyans in the sixth universe, who protect planets and fight bad guys. Your Galaxy Patrol is not very strong—except for Merus. With our help, we can form a peacekeeping force to fight tougher criminals."
The Galactic King paused. "Can you promise that the Saiyans will not cause trouble? Your past is not very good."
"That is behind us now," Link replied. "I now rule the Saiyans, and I will make sure they follow the right path."
The King nodded. "Then it is agreed."
"Thank you, Your Majesty. My people will contact you with the details soon," Link said.
'Sweet, a short convo and deal done'
As he thought about this, he remembered the promise he made to help the Saiyans grow stronger and more disciplined. He wanted them to protect planets instead of destroying them.
After the meeting, Link did not stay long. He went back to Earth with Tights and Jaco. Soon after they left, a Galactic Patrolman burst in with a laser gun and shouted, "Your Majesty the Galactic King, where are those Saiyan!? I heard a fierce Saiyan attacked you!"
"Ah, Merus! Do not worry—it is all a misunderstanding," the king said with a shake of his head.

On the past month, in Planet Vegeta training was in full swing again. In the gravity chambers built by the Universal Capsule Company, Saiyans of all sizes were training hard. When a fighter was hurt in the chamber, he was quickly sent to the treatment device for fast recovery. Thanks to Dr. Brief and Bulma, Link's plan to make the Saiyans stronger was back on track. His first task was to produce over 1,000 Saiyans in one year with a combat power above 10,000—and more than half of that goal had already been reached. The other tasks were also moving along well.
Meanwhile, Link kept training himself but he soon found a problem: the 50× gravity chamber was no longer enough to push his limits. One day, after leaving the training room, he checked his stats—his combat power had reached 1 million. Before he had increased his power by more than 200,000 in one month. Now, it had gone up by just a little over 100,000. Clearly, the 50× chamber was not enough anymore.
Maybe it was time to return to Earth. Before leaving, Link had given Dr. Brief advanced Saiyan spaceship technology as a reward. He urged Dr. Brief to develop a stronger 100× gravity chamber and other Saiyan-related equipment. Dr. Brief had worked hard, and Bulma always kept a close eye on his progress.
Now that a month had passed, Link needed to check on the Saiyan side first before going to Earth.
