Shadow then appeared forward making the both of them kneel in the air as soon as they saw him
'Just came and ruinedy plans' Alex thought scowling at him
"Alex is no fool,he is baiting you and you guys fell hard for it" The man said and then stared at the angel like demon
"Even if it doesn't come naturally to Seraphina you should get it seraph" He said to the angel like demon before disappearing
Seraph then created a large cannonball while Seraphina pit her ball of destruction into it,Alex was guessing they'd ecided to end this fight once and for all
Alex nodded to Ember as she created many balls of fire and attacked them from all angles,while they were to busy dislodging Alex used the fire chain to price into all parts but Seraph heart
He spotted out and fell to the ground,the rest regained control of themselves,they quickly aimed their arrows at seraph
Alex.seeing this quickly used his fire to destroy their arrows,the cannon that Seraph created vanished alongside the destruction ball
Seraphina looked enraged and had a dark aura around her,it seemed like she had some kind of relation to seraph
'Who would have known..' Alex thought
"Ember follow me,our all your attack into creating a chain to bind her" Alex commanded
They then created a hundred chains around her,she tried unleashing all her energy but the chains didn't budge
Unexpectedly Seraph created a sword and sent it towards Seraphina but Alex blasted it away
'Well that was too expected'
Seraph then fainted while Seraphina remained chained,the dark clouds scattered allowing light to shine on their village
They were then kept in a cell that nullified all magical power,it was like a normal jail cell they had back on earth
Alex walked towards the cell and sat down "Why did you guys attack the elves" Alex asked
"Well we just plucked some flowers and they went all beserkers on us" Seraphina explained
The leader quickly frowned and retorted back "Plucked or destroyed it completely with that death ball"
"Well then,since I'm the demon king I shall show you mercy but you still need a punishment" He said as the sunlight shone upon him from the window making her stare at him in awe
"We'll plant new flowers" She suggested
Alex frowned at the offer making her shiver a bit,seems like she was trying to protect both her and her brother
"We'll plant a thousand trees" She suggested again but Alex dramatically fell down covering his face
Ember laughed at this,even the leader couldn't help but laugh at the situation, Seraphina had enough and tried one more suggestion
"We'll join you in defeating the demon king" She said out
Alex stood up suddenly grinning widely and opened up the cages for them "Told you I was merciful" He smiled with sparkles
"Tch" Seraphina grunted and carried her brother out of the cell
As they decided to stay for a few day Shadow watched from afar and sighed "it seems like we lost some subordinate"
A fireball was then sent flying his way but he dodged,it seemed like Alex had discovered him
"We shouldn't underestimate him" He said and then disappeared
The next day the whole village was then assembled to a large field,in the podium stood Alex and the leader
"Today we come to congratulate this kind young man who defeated the demons and saved the elf kingdom" The leader spoke up
Everyone then clapped for him smiling warmly with tears in their eyes,Alex smiled back at them with the same warm eyes
The leader then looked at him and spoke up "Now what kind of reward do you want"The leader asked
Alex then out his hand in his head feigning innocence"I don't know you decide"
"How about some money" The leader suggested
Alex held his heart and fell down on the floor with a thud,the leaders eyes twitched and then he came to a conclusion
"Then our while village shall serve you for as much as we live" The leader Siad making Alex grin overly wide
Ember smiled while Seraphina and seraph stared with their bodies twitching,to them it seemed more like a scam,Alex already knew they never intended on killing the elves but still came as some sort of hero
Seraphina held a rock and threw it with force at him "Damn kid"
Alex dodged it making the leader ask him what it was but Alex dismissed at as nothing but a fly
They then flew on Embers back as the whole visage waved them goodbye,Alex felt a warm feeling in his heart,he knew now more than ever that he had to be demon king,no one else
Shadow then appeared on Ember but it seemed like he wasn't here to fight, Alex too had no intention of fighting him yet
"Alex,may I ask your surname" Shadow asked coldly
"Well it's Alex Bose,why do you ask" Alex blinked in confusion
A flare then appeared on Shadows eyes as shadow held both of his arms and descended down pinning him to the ground
The rest had come down surrounding him at all sides but they couldn't come close as they felt an immense gravity
Alex tried freeing himself but he couldn't move a bit "What the hell shadow!"
Shadow then tapped on his head making a red mark appear on it,his fthoumb then unknowingly pressed on it as he was studying it
Soon enough it started to bleed,Shadow then got off and wiped away the blood from his thumb with an handkerchief
"I've seen what I wanted" Shadow said and disappeared
"What the hell..." Alex muttered before fainting
By time he woke up he found out t that a week had gone,he didn't expect himself to faint for that long,it seemed whatever powers Shadow had discovered was beyond his control
Ember seeing he had woken up quickly ran to his side and hugged him "Are you alright" She said with tears
"I wanted to tell him before he went that..." Alex paused
"That what" Ember asked
"That I ain't gay" Alex said making Ember face go blank,even if he died he wouldn't stop being silly
