Kaito woke up early in his small, cluttered room at the orphanage. He got dressed and headed downstairs to the communal kitchen, where he found a simple breakfast waiting for him. The other orphans were already up and about, chatting and laughing as they ate.
As Kaito poured himself a bowl of cereal, he noticed a letter on the table with his name on it. He picked it up, feeling a strange sensation in his fingers. The envelope was old and worn, with a wax seal bearing a strange symbol.
Kaito's curiosity was piqued. He turned the envelope over in his hands, studying it carefully. Who could have sent him a letter? And what did they want with him?
He carefully broke the seal and pulled out the letter. The paper was yellowed and crackling with age, and the writing was in a language he couldn't understand.

"Kaito, you have been chosen. Meet me at the old oak tree in the town square at midnight. Come alone."
Kaito's heart was racing as he finished reading the letter. Who could have written this? And what did they want with him?
He looked around the kitchen, wondering if anyone had seen the letter. But the other orphans were too busy with their own breakfasts to notice.
