Chapter 1: The Unwanted Gift
Taro Yamada was just an average 16-year-old boy, trying to navigate the complexities of high school. He had a small group of friends, a part-time job, and a love for video games. But despite his ordinary life, Taro possessed a gift that made him anything but average.
He had the unwanted ability to attract yandere.
It started when he was 14, with a girl named Yui. She was a quiet, reserved classmate who had never shown much interest in Taro before. But one day, out of the blue, she began to follow him everywhere. She would show up at his house, uninvited, and wait for him outside his classroom. She would send him endless texts and emails, declaring her undying love for him.
At first, Taro was flattered. Who wouldn't want to be loved and adored by someone? But as the days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months, Taro began to feel suffocated. He couldn't escape Yui, no matter how hard he tried. She was always there, lurking in the shadows, waiting for her chance to strike.
Taro tried to talk to Yui, to reason with her, but she wouldn't listen. She was convinced that he was meant to be with her, and that anyone who got in her way was a threat that needed to be eliminated.
As the months dragged on, Taro began to feel like he was trapped in a never-ending nightmare. He couldn't escape Yui, no matter how hard he tried. She was always there, watching him, waiting for him.
And then, one day, things took a dark and sinister turn. Yui showed up at Taro's house, her eyes blazing with a mad and terrifying intensity. "I'll never let anyone else have you," she hissed, her voice low and menacing.
Taro was horrified. He had never seen Yui like this before. She was always quiet and reserved, but now she was like a wild animal, unpredictable and deadly.
He tried to calm her down, to reason with her, but she wouldn't listen. She was too far gone, consumed by her own madness and obsession.
In the end, Taro was forced to call the police. They came and took Yui away, locking her up in a mental institution for her own safety.
But even though Yui was gone, Taro knew that he would never be able to escape the yandere. They would always be there, lurking in the shadows, waiting for their chance to strike.
And then, one day, Taro's life took a dramatic turn. He was walking home from school when he was suddenly struck by a truck. He felt his life slipping away, and then... nothing.
When Taro opened his eyes, he found himself in a completely different world. He was lying in a bed, surrounded by strange and unfamiliar objects. A woman with long, flowing hair and piercing green eyes was standing over him, a look of concern on her face.
"Welcome, Taro," she said. "I am Lirien, the goddess of this world. You have been chosen to be reincarnated here, to start a new life in a new world."
Taro was stunned. He had no idea what was going on, or how he had gotten here. But as he looked around, he realized that this world was very different from his own. There were strange creatures and magical objects everywhere, and the air was filled with a strange, pulsating energy.
As Taro struggled to make sense of his new surroundings, Lirien began to explain the rules of this world. "In this world, magic is real," she said. "And you, Taro, have a special gift. You have the ability to attract yandere, just like you did in your old life."
Taro's eyes widened in horror. "No," he said. "I don't want that. I don't want to attract yandere."
Lirien's expression was sympathetic. "I'm afraid it's not that simple," she said. "Your gift is a part of who you are, and it cannot be changed. But do not worry, Taro. I will help you to control your
