Chapter 5 - A fight of pride

CRACK.

Mikimo barely had time to react before The Iron Maiden seized his arm and snapped it like a twig.

SLAM.

His body crashed into the concrete with such force that the entire ground shook. His bones rattled inside his skin, his vision flickering.

But the nightmare had only begun.

The Iron Maiden grabbed his shoulder and yanked—

POP.

Dislocated.

Then came his neck.

SNAP.

Followed by his spine.

CRACK. CRACK. CRACK.

His legs. His arms. Every. Single. Bone.

Mikimo squirmed, his body twitching as blood pooled from his eye sockets, seeping from his joints and dripping from his mouth. His breath came out in wet, ragged gasps as he stumbled back… then collapsed.

The Iron Maiden stood over him, triumphant.

"Is that all you got?" he mocked, arms crossed, grinning like a hero who had just saved the world.

"You talk big... but you ain't got the power to back it up!"

His laughter echoed through the night.

But the battle was far from over.

Darkness.

Mikimo's mind spiraled into a nightmare.

He saw her.

His sister. Helpless.

The Iron Maiden's shadow loomed over her, his laughter twisting into something sinister.

Then—

Blood.

His sister's scream.

A blade flashing.

A life stolen.

Mikimo snapped awake.

His eyes shot open.

His body refused to move. He couldn't even twitch a finger.

But his will…

His will refused to die.

He forced himself up, dragging his battered body against a nearby wall.

His breath was shaky.

His vision blurred.

But his mind was clear.

And then—

He did the impossible.

One by one, Mikimo relocated every shattered bone.

His shoulder cracked back into place.

His spine realigned.

His neck snapped back.

A deep breath.

A twisted grin.

Then—

"C'MON, YOU BASTARD!! COME OVER HERE SO I CAN BEAT YOUR A!!!"**

The Iron Maiden stepped forward, his expression shifting from arrogance… to disbelief.

"You're… up?"

He took another step.

"How…? I broke and dislocated everything. How the hell… are you still alive?!"

Mikimo didn't answer.

He charged.

A blur of movement.

But then—

SHHK!

A blade plunged straight into his heart.

Mikimo froze.

His breath hitched.

Blood dripped down his lips.

Then—

A grin.

A sinister grin.

Before The Iron Maiden could react, Mikimo grabbed his head—

CRACK.

Slammed their skulls together with monstrous force.

The Iron Maiden stumbled back, his vision spinning. His grip tightened into pure hatred.

"You…!!"

His rage exploded as he charged, this time at half-full speed

BOOM!

His fist connected.

Mikimo was launched into the sky, high above the city.

But instead of screaming—

He smiled.

Momentum.

That's all he needed.

He rolled midair, twisting his body with unnatural control.

And then—

BAM!

A devastating heel kick smashed into The Iron Maiden's head.

The impact sent him rocketing backward.

His body collided with Nakajumi Tower— the tallest skyscraper in the city.

And then—

SHHNK.

A steel spike, meant for aircraft landings, pierced straight through his chest.

The Iron Maiden choked on blood.

But it wasn't over.

He gritted his teeth and, despite the pain, fired a barrage of missiles.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

A dozen warheads cut through the sky, locking onto Mikimo.

But Mikimo—

Mikimo just laughed.

A crazed, psychotic grin split his face.

He unsheathed his dagger.

And in seconds, he sliced through the missiles midair, the explosions igniting the night.

He ran his tongue along the blade.

"Come at me, p**."**

But something changed.

A click.

The Iron Maiden froze.

His eyes widened.

He reached for his back.

The limiter.

It was—

Broken.

Then—

A low growl.

A pulse of energy.

And then—

A scream.

Louder than a thunderclap.

The entire city shook.

Windows shattered.

Mikimo instinctively jumped onto a building, watching from above.

The Iron Maiden's body twitched.

No—

He was changing.

A dark aura swirled around him, tendrils of energy writhing like living shadows.

Mikimo's breath hitched.

In a millisecond, it happened.

A monstrous transformation.

No longer The Iron Maiden.

Now…

"I am The Sin Maiden."

A name dripping with malice.

Mikimo's body reacted on its own.

Fighting stance.

Unconscious. Instinctual.

But then—

The pressure.

An immense, suffocating aura.

It slammed into Mikimo like an invisible wave of fear.

His arms tensed.

His legs locked up.

His stomach knotted.

And then—

Without a moment's notice—

BOOM!!!

A shockwave of dark energy exploded outward.

The force was overwhelming.

Mikimo's building collapsed beneath him.

And he plummeted.

Straight into hell.
