Blood and Flames
The crimson moon painted the sky in the glow of raging flames. The battlefield reeked of burnt flesh and the sharp stench of blood. Ash drifted down from the heavens, falling like the last breaths of dying warriors.
Yan Xi tightened his grip on his sword. The Seal of the Flame King (ç°çć°) burned brightly on his left arm, radiating an aura of fire. The bodies strewn around him served as a grim reminderâthis war was only the beginning.
Directly before him stood a figure dressed in pure white⊠Ling Yue.
Her eyes, reflecting the moonlight, gleamed like cold stars. Her expression was emotionless, yet Yan Xi could feel the storm raging within her. She was a warrior blessed with the Curse of the Moon (æèŻ ć), one with the night, vanishing into the shadows.
"Yan Xi." Ling Yue's voice was as cold as ice. "This war has no end. Why do you still resist?"
Yan Xi smiledâlightly, mockingly, but with a hidden sorrow. "Because you still haven't remembered."
Ling Yue's brows furrowed. "Remembered what?"
Yan Xi raised his sword, the flames around him growing stronger. "Me."
At that moment, the earth trembled. A pillar of light pierced through the dark sky, landing between them. Suddenly, echoes of the past surged through their mindsâtwo souls, bound by a forbidden love, cursed and sealed for eternityâŠ
Ling Yue's eyes widened. In the depths of her heart, a long-forgotten memory flickered like a dying ember.
But just then, an arrow tore through the sky.
A streak of white light descended, andâ
Was it the end?
Or was fate waiting to be rewritten once more?
