Chapter 1 - Prologue

The full moon hung high in the night sky, its pale glow casting eerie silver streaks across the dense forest. The wind whispered through the trees, carrying with it a scent—something faint yet intoxicating. Blood. Death. Secrets.

A lone figure stood atop a rocky cliff, her long, flowing black dress billowing in the cold wind. Her crimson lips curled into a wicked smile as she gazed down at the city below, her sharp eyes gleaming with an unnatural hunger. Seraphina. That was the name whispered in fear among those who knew the horrors that lurked in the shadows.

She was a hunter. A predator. And tonight, she had found her prey.

Somewhere in the city, completely unaware of the fate that awaited him, a young high school boy walked home under the streetlights. His soft brown hair fell over his gentle eyes, innocence radiating from his every step. He was just an ordinary boy, a shy and quiet student who never caused trouble. The kind of boy who never belonged in a world of monsters.

And yet, his blood called to them.

Seraphina licked her lips. He had no idea what he truly was. No idea why his blood was so special. But she did. And soon, the entire supernatural world would know as well.

She had been watching him for weeks, studying his every move. The way he smiled so softly, the way his voice trembled when he spoke, the way his heartbeat quickened when he sensed something lurking in the dark. He was pure. Untainted. A perfect offering for the secrets she sought.

And yet… something about him intrigued her.

She had taken countless lives before. Humans, werewolves, even vampires who dared to cross her path. She had never hesitated. She was a killer, a monster that thrived in the night. But as she watched him, something twisted deep within her—a feeling she did not recognize.

Curiosity.

Perhaps even something more dangerous.

But it didn't matter. She had a purpose, and he was the key to unlocking it.

With a single leap, she vanished into the night, her figure blending into the shadows. The hunt had begun.

The boy had no idea that his fate had already been sealed.
