"Ughhhh... I have got to stop passing out." Ahn said to himself.
Ahn slowly got up, making sure not to move too fast so his brain doesn't start ringing more than it already was. Having gone through 28 years worth of memories within a short time is not a good way to start the day. But at the least he acquired information that was not presented in the original books. This would make transitioning into this universe a lot easier as he didn't know the first lick of Korean let alone how to be a guild employee, at least until he figures out how to awaken.

Oh yea... I just need to get close to a gate and that can awaken me... or at least it should. With the system in place and considering I'm basically a new soul in this body, I should be able to awaken my latent abilities.. well if I have any that is.

"Hmm.. so its like that type of system where actions attribute towards skills and statuses. I was hoping it would be more impressive than that, but beggars can't be choosers."
Ahn slowly moved off his bed now that the pain was going away and moved into his living room to get some breakfast before work started. Even though he knew he would awaken soon, he didn't want to start off on a bad footing with the Tiger Guild. Unlike a certain someone, he did not have armor plot, so pissing off an S rank was not in his list of things to do in the short term, maybe later on.
Getting all the ingredients out, Ahn started preparing a standard breakfast of eggs, juice, sausage, and bread. He went to go turn the stove on, utilizing the controls for the mana circuit to set the heat on. When he reached out for the controls a little zap went between the controls and his outstretched hand.
"Huh.. what was that," Ahn thought out loud, bringing his hand up for inspection.
[Host, you have awakened. Congratulations, Didn't work hard, just died so now you made it...]

"I did not forget, but we both know you won't do anything to me," this time Ahn replied out loud, "Now show me the money. What rank did I get, is it S rank... or maybe higher.. hmm hmm" Ahn asked with a lot of excitement.
Ahn was not expecting that making breakfast would allow him to awaken his latent abilities like that. He knew that 10 was the average that a human being would have for their stat points, so looking at his stats he was in the top 10 percentile when it came to his intelligence, so maybe coupled with his luck he would awaken into a power house automatically.

Now why is Ahn celebrating you may ask? Well, that is because Ahn was in MIT when he died due to pressure of being too successful. As a child genius that went on to finish 3 associate degrees before leaving the age of middle school, Ahn was already something that a lot of people had their eyes on. When he joined MIT before even finishing puberty and discovering an actual clean energy process that would have led to a complete eradication everywhere of fossil fuels before eighteen, he was now asking to meet his maker unknowingly.
Yes, Ahn before he transmigrated to the Solo Leveling Universe was not only one of the smartest individuals Earth had produced, but he was also a huge dweeb that knew the ins and outs of a lot of Manwhas, FanFictions, etc.
While Ahn was celebrating his win, changes started occurring to his body. No matter the rank or class that an awakened achieved, they all had changes that occurred on a cellular level, even spiritual level, that made them slightly or in some cases, vastly different than normal humans. This was more pronounced the higher one went in the ranks.
At first it was just slight, his bone density started to increase, followed by his muscle density, then his height shot up a good several inches, and finally more neurons started growing inside his brain. Ahn felt slightly off by the sudden changes once the transformation was complete, but he did fall down onto his butt since his new center of balance had shifted.
"Oh wow," Ahn exclaimed looking at his thicker forearms.
Ahn got up and went to a mirror too see the changes that had occurred. Looking into the mirror he noticed that gone was his half-dead look and slouchy disposition. What looked back was a moderately handso... okay who was he kidding, he was a smoking hot young stud with a six pack, after lifting his shirt, wide chest, round shoulders, and legs like tree trunks. Overall he stood about six foot eight inches. Before he was about five foot eight inches, so no wonder he fell over.
"Huh... the hose gonna love me... hehehe" Ahn said out loud.
(AN: Ahn never had any interaction with women outside his mother, but the internet was a wild source of entertainment, especially Nistagram)

"Hmmm seems like everything basically went up by about 10, except for Int, Sense, and Luck. Though I have no idea why luck went up, but I think its cause being an awakened is almost exclusively Luck based."

Hmmm, that about lines up with what I was thinking when reading this.
"Okay, well lets finish up breakfast and get the day started."
Ahn then proceeded to finish prepping his breakfast and lunch before heading to a 24hour mall to buy some clothes that actually fit him.
"OH... AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THAT ALARM CLOCK THAT YOU HAVE YOUNG MAN..."
Huh, that old man is still at it... someone's definitely calling the police on him again.
