Chapter 1: Betrayal

Xiu Xinyi stood frozen at the doorway, her fingers trembling as she clutched her phone. The screen displayed the damning evidence—photos, messages, and voice notes. Her five-year relationship, built on trust and devotion, had crumbled before her eyes. And the worst part? The other woman was none other than her best friend, Liu Yiran.

Her mind raced back to the sacrifices she had made for Shen Wei. Five years ago, she had left her privileged life in Beijing, abandoned her family's wealth and expectations, all to follow him to this small city where he pursued his business dreams. She had traded silk sheets for rented apartments, fine dining for home-cooked meals, and designer dresses for a simple wardrobe. All because she loved him.

"Rough night?" a deep, smooth voice asked beside her.

She turned and met a pair of piercing dark eyes. The man sitting next to her exuded danger and mystery, his tailored black suit clinging to his lean frame. His features were sharp, his presence commanding. He wasn't just another club-goer—there was something about him that felt... powerful.

Xinyi didn't respond immediately. Instead, she downed the rest of her drink and gave him a reckless smile.

"Worst night of my life," she admitted.

He studied her for a moment, then smirked. "Then let's make it unforgettable."

Smiling xinyi held his hands and he pulled her close to him..........
