ThreeThree monthsThree damn months that I've been tortured in every possible way.
I've been drowned, burned, frozen, shot, stabbed, electrocuted, and much more, and still...
THIS DAMN MISSION ISN'T COMPLETE.
This damn system must be messing with me, there's no way.
I've been suffering for so long, FOR WAY TOO LONG, and still, this son of a bitch of a system hasn't completed my mission.
When I find out who created this system, I swear, I'm going to beat them up.The cell door opens, and the scientist is there again with that damn clipboard.
Seriously, one day I'm going to smash that thing over his head.
I take a deep breath and calm myself down with some ease.
The scientist starts saying the same crap as always, until, when we leave the cell, something happens—something that makes me smile so big it could split my face.
[MISSION COMPLETE]

Neo was being brought to the experimentation room while the system explained what it was doing.
[HELLO HOST, THE CHARACTER FUSION SYSTEM: THE HOST AND A RANDOM CHARACTER FROM A UNIVERSE STARTED FUSING, GIVING THE HOST THE USER'S POWERS. HOWEVER, DEPENDING ON THE UNIVERSE THE CHARACTER IS EXTRACTED FROM, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOME ALTERATIONS IN THE HOST'S CURRENT UNIVERSE MIGHT OCCUR. THEREFORE, IT IS ADVISED THAT THE HOST EXERCISE CAUTION.]
When Neo looked at it, he was quite confused.
'What do you mean by alterations in the current universe?'
As he was wondering about this, another screen appeared in front of him.
[WOULD THE HOST LIKE TO USE CHARACTER ROLLING?]
[YES] [NO]
Neo looked at this and thought for a moment, starting to question if this would be wise, because if there are alterations in the universe, doesn't that mean he could accidentally destroy the universe?
But if nothing happens, he would get stronger and escape this cursed place. After about two minutes of thinking, he realized they were arriving at the experimentation room.
Without hesitation, he pressed YES, and in front of Neo, a giant roulette appeared and started spinning. When he paid attention, time around him began to run very slowly.
And when he wondered what was happening, the roulette started to slow down.
[THE HOST HAS OBTAINED]
[THE CHARACTER FROM JUJUTSU KAISEN]
[THE KING OF CURSES, SUKUNA]
If Neo weren't in front of the scientist and the guards, he would be crying with joy and in a catatonic state.
How could he not? It's Sukuna, the king, the strongest in all of Jujutsu Kaisen. He fought against all the sorcerers at once and killed almost all of them, only losing to his meddlesome nephew, who could literally separate his body from the host.
Just with this, he could annihilate a city if he could use all of Sukuna's power. But what came after this was what really put him in a catatonic state.
[IT HAS BEEN DETECTED THAT THE HOST HAS AN EQUIPMENT CARD. WOULD YOU LIKE TO USE IT?]
[YES] [NO]
Neo didn't know what it was, so inside his head, he tried to ask.
'System, when did I get this equipment card, and what does it do?'
At that moment, answering Neo's question, the system "spoke."
[THE HOST OBTAINED THIS CARD WITH THE STARTER KIT RECEIVED AS A REWARD FROM THE MISSION.]
[AND THE EQUIPMENT CARD ALLOWS THE HOST TO BRING THE WEAPONS OF THE CURRENT TARGET FROM THE SYSTEM TO THE HOST FOR AN INDEFINITE AMOUNT OF TIME.]
If the scientist looked at Neo at that moment, he would notice that it seemed like Neo was heading to heaven. Without thinking much, he pressed yes with his eyes closed, but when he opened them, he froze.
[THIS CARD IS THE ONLY ONE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE HOST DUE TO THE HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT.]
And without thinking, he screamed loudly.
Neo: Noooooooooo!!!
The scientist and the guards looked at him, and the soldiers were somewhat surprised because this mutant had never screamed like this before.
But the scientist smiled sadistically and said.
Scientist: Don't worry, I got permission for something special today, just for you.
The scientist was Frederic, and he loved torturing mutants. He accepted the job the moment he discovered it was about mutants. He literally works here just for the torture and the mutant screams he gets to hear.
Neo darkened his expression after remembering all the horrible things this bastard had done to some mutants he had met here, things that were hard to erase from memory.
When they reached the experimentation room, instead of objects or machines, there was just a syringe on a table.
When they got there, Frederic looked at Neo and began speaking.
Frederic: You know, I hated you the moment you showed yourself to be the most resistant to pain in this damn place. That's why I kept telling Reiner to let me use this on you.
He paused, grabbed the syringe, and continued.
Frederic: And I finally got permission after bugging Reiner so much. Let me explain. This…
He showed the syringe in his hand to Neo.
Frederic: Is the mutant cure.
Neo looked wide-eyed at the syringe, not out of fear, but out of curiosity and surprise. Because as everyone knows, mutants are this way due to a gene, not a bacteria or virus. So how the hell was what Frederic was holding in his hand a mutant cure?
But then his doubt was answered.
Frederic: This completely devastates a person's genes and DNA to the point of literally turning the person into a heap of pain and living flesh, hahahahahahaha. Are you scared now?
Neo looks at him and speaks with the utmost calmness.
Neo: No, because you're the one who's going to try this syringe.
Frederic looks at Neo, confused, and asks.
Frederic: What do you mean—
Before he can finish his sentence, his hand falls to the ground with a clean cut, and while Frederic tries to understand what is happening or even feel pain, the heads of the two guards fall to the ground.
Still unable to feel pain or understand, Frederic looks at Neo in horror.
Neo remembered something and recalled someone who was a victim of this damn monster. He then looked at the doctor while grabbing the syringe, as Frederic cried and begged for forgiveness.
Neo approached him and injected the syringe into his neck while speaking.
Neo: I want you to remember Leo's face every second in hell.
When Neo did this, he remembered someone he would never forget, and he began to recall.
In these three months, Neo also met other mutants, among them the one who stood out the most: a 10-year-old child named Leo. Even when he left the tortures the mutants endured, he would return with a smile.
Neo liked the child because, even in this hell, Leo was the last remaining trace of innocence in this damn place. He lifted the spirits of the other children and made them smile, even when they were sad.
One day, Neo asked Leo why he was always so happy and cheerful, and Leo replied.
Leo: When Mom and Dad called me a monster because I could scream so loudly, I went to see Grandpa to understand why they didn't love me anymore. And he said...
Leo took on the posture of an old man, which was somewhat comical, and continued telling the story.
Leo (imitating an old man): They don't hate you, they're just confused, little tiger. But Grandpa still loves you. Look, promise me something, can you?
Leo: Then I told Grandpa that I had never broken a pinky promise in my life, and he said...
Leo (imitating an old man): Promise Grandpa that, even if the world seems lost and rotten, you won't give up on it, nor on those who live in it. And that, even on the darkest days, a smile won't leave your face.
Leo: Then I promised him. It's been a while since I've seen him. I hope he's okay.
After hearing this, Neo held back his tears, seeing such innocence.
But unfortunately, this wasn't a place where innocence lasted long.
A few days later, Leo died in an experimentation room and was burned along with the other bodies, as if he wasn't even important.
It was on that day that Neo mentally broke and promised that he would kill every human who came near him.
As Neo watched Frederic begin to writhe, the laboratory alarm went off, which shocked Neo a bit because everything he had done hadn't even lasted 10 minutes. It shouldn't be possible for them to already know what had happened here.
Neo: Interesting.
