Of course, Ryuu already knew.
With his innate memory, he wasn't omniscient about the world of Jujutsu, but his knowledge far surpassed that of most sorcerers.
Naturally, Geto Suguru wasn't aware of what made Ryuu so unique, so he continued explaining the Jujutsu world in more detail.
"In truth, sorcerers, like any other species, tend to gather in groups. You have organizations like my Star Religious Group, as well as Jujutsu Clans and independent Jujutsu experts."
"But putting those clans aside for now, the core of modern Jujutsu society is the Tokyo and Kyoto Jujutsu High Schools."
"Eventually, I plan to declare war on Jujutsu High. The ones fighting by my side will be my family—and the cursed spirits I control."
Hearing this, Ryuu pointed out the most obvious flaw.
"And what about you?"
Geto smirked. "There's something inside Jujutsu High that I want. For the sake of my cause, I must claim it myself."
"So your plan is basically a diversion?"
Geto nodded. "Exactly. While I infiltrate Jujutsu High, I need you and my forces to hold back their sorcerers."
---
Ryuu sighed, scratching his head.
"What a hassle…"
Receiving a favor really does come with its price.
Jujutsu High wasn't just some school—it was the backbone of the entire Jujutsu society.
If he openly opposed them, he'd be considered a villain—forced into hiding like Geto and his curse-user followers.
And that wasn't an option.
This was still an anime world, and there were so many places he wanted to explore.
Besides, he had Utaha, Yumiko, Miko, and Hana in his life.
He wasn't going to let himself become a wanted criminal.
But at the same time, there was a simple solution to this dilemma:
Overwhelming strength.
That was why he came to Star Religious Group in the first place.
Maintaining a conflicted expression, Ryuu spoke.
"Jujutsu High is a legitimate institution with sorcerers of unmatched quality and quantity. Even with your cursed spirit army, you won't stand a chance."
"Otherwise, you wouldn't need to stall them—you'd just wipe them out."
Geto chuckled. "You're as sharp as ever, Ryuu-kun."
"Indeed, there's a particular white-haired guy at Jujutsu High who's currently the strongest sorcerer alive."
"Gojo Satoru," Ryuu muttered.
"That's right," Geto confirmed. "But don't worry—he and I go way back. He might just go easy on you."
Ryuu scoffed.
Easy?
The Six Eyes user? The man with Infinite Void? The walking cheat code of Jujutsu society?
Yeah, right.
"Seems like I'm being forced into villainy," Ryuu muttered. "And I'm only a first-year high school student."
Geto smiled. "I've thought about that too, Ryuu-kun. After I win, I'll ensure Jujutsu High never bothers you again."
Ryuu ignored him.
Win?
Geto's plan was doomed to fail.
Jujutsu High had Gojo Satoru, and Yuta Okkotsu, who had Rika—The Queen of Curses.
Even if Ryuu joined Geto's side, the outcome wouldn't change.
"I don't bet on low success rates," Ryuu finally said. "From my perspective, this is a losing battle."
"So what kind of leverage would change your mind?" Geto asked curiously.
Then, as if realizing something, he smirked.
"Or do you just want to eat again?"
Ryuu grinned.
"You catch on fast," he said. "Your cursed spirit army is just a distraction, right?"
"Then instead of letting them die for nothing, why not feed them to me?"
"I'll use them to evolve my eyes."
---
Geto's eyes widened.
"Your eyes… can evolve further?"
Ryuu nodded. He raised his hand, activating his Mangekyō Sharingan.
"So?" he smirked. "Rather than letting those cursed spirits go to waste, wouldn't you rather have them serve a greater purpose?"
Geto remained silent, studying him carefully.
This was a gamble.
Those cursed spirits weren't disposable. They were crucial to Geto's war strategy.
But he also couldn't ignore the potential in Ryuu's eyes.
He had seen it firsthand.
Those Mangekyō Sharingan eyes had already given Ryuu immense power.
If they evolved again…
Ryuu might become a genuine Special Grade sorcerer.
And that meant their chances of victory would increase.
After a moment, Geto exhaled.
"Fine."
But soon, he regretted it.
---
As Ryuu absorbed more and more cursed spirits, Geto noticed something.
At first, Grade 2 and Grade 3 spirits fed his eyes normally.
But as the process continued, the returns began to diminish.
Only Grade 1 cursed spirits provided any noticeable growth.
And yet—
Even as cursed energy surged around him, Ryuu's mind remained intact.
His body continued to absorb negativity without breaking.
Then—
A critical point was reached.
As the last Grade 1 cursed spirit vanished, the air itself trembled.
An ocean of cursed energy erupted around Ryuu, shaking the entire temple.
"Th-this feeling…!"
Geto's breath hitched as he watched in awe.
