Three days after the destruction of his village, someone knocked on the door of Raka and Alya's small house. The person introduced himself as a representative of the Holy Star Temple and delivered a message from the Holy Star Temple Council. He said that Alya's status had attracted the attention of the Saintess and offered to make her a student as well as the next Saintess candidate.
Raka, who heard the news, felt proud and encouraged Alya to accept the offer. However, Alya seemed hesitant and gently refused. She explained that she didn't want to lose her family again; she didn't want to be away from Raka, her only remaining family. Raka, who heard his sister's refusal, felt regretful for only thinking about Alya's future without considering her feelings. He then asked if there was a way for him to join Alya as a Saintess's student.
The temple representative firmly replied that the invitation was only for Alya and no one else was allowed. Hearing this, Raka and Alya felt disappointed. However, the representative continued by saying that even though Raka couldn't become a student, he could come to the temple as a servant. Without hesitation, Raka agreed, as long as he could stay close to his sister. Alya felt relieved and happy to hear her brother's decision and finally accepted the offer to become a Saintess's student.
Arriving at the temple, Alya was warmly welcomed by the staff, while Raka was treated coldly, considered a servant. He was given a servant's uniform, while Alya was directed to the Saintess's room to meet Stella directly. When Alya arrived, she greeted Stella respectfully, but Stella immediately hugged her tightly with sincere happiness.
"Please work with me from now on," Stella whispered gently, and Alya could only smile and nod.
There were two conditions set for Raka to work in the temple: he was forbidden to acknowledge Alya as his sister, and he could only meet Alya on Friday nights. Alya initially objected to these conditions, but for the sake of her brother's future, Raka agreed. As a result, during the day, they could only pass each other without saying hello. When they met, Raka had to speak formally and bow respectfully like a servant. Only on Friday nights could they talk and gather as siblings.
In one of their meetings on Friday night, Raka wondered how he could be recognized so that people could recognize them as siblings.
Alya, who had learned a lot from the Saintess, gave advice,
"Brother might be able to improve your status by studying at the Stellar Academy. Graduates from there are guaranteed to have a bright future. Maybe that's enough to raise Brother's status."
Raka chuckled and said,
"It would probably be a miracle if a talentless person like me could be accepted into a school like that."
However, Stella, who heard the conversation, began to plan something. She wanted Raka and Alya to have the opportunity to study at the Stellar Academy.
Five years later, Raka is now 15 years old and preparing to take the Stellar Academy class placement exam. He couldn't believe that he had passed the selection to enter the prestigious school, muttering,
"It's truly a miracle that I could get here."
