Demons are among the most powerful beings in existence, but their true role in the grand scheme of things is far more complex than it seems. They are not just the mindless agents of destruction many believe them to be. As the story unfolds, the true nature of demons will become clear.

Monsters

Monsters come in many forms, ranging from weak creatures barely worth mentioning to abominations beyond comprehension. Their strength varies drastically, and with it, the rewards they provide.

Lesser monsters drop basic loot—ordinary weapons, tools, and minor magical trinkets.Greater monsters yield powerful relics, enchanted weaponry, and artifacts imbued with magic.Ancient and legendary monsters—those whose power defies reason—drop items of unimaginable strength, some even reaching the level of gods.

Most warriors and adventurers obtain their weapons and abilities by slaying monsters, but killing a truly formidable one is a near-impossible feat, requiring strategy, strength, and sometimes even sacrifice.

The Vessels

Unlike angels, God-Kin are direct descendants of gods. However, they do not inherit their divine ancestors' full strength at birth. Instead, they must undergo an awakening to unlock their True Form, the state in which their godly heritage is fully realized.

True Forms

A True Form is the awakened state of a God-Kin, a demon, a human, or even a god. While the details surrounding this transformation are shrouded in mystery, one thing is certain—it is an event of immense significance. Those who achieve it ascend to a level of power that sets them apart from the rest of the world.

Gods

Gods are the pinnacle of existence—supreme beings who have transcended all limits. However, becoming a god is not simply a matter of power or potential. There are only two ways to ascend:

Defeat a god and claim their divine essence.Obtain a Divine Item, a rare and enigmatic artifact that grants godhood to its wielder.Divine Items

No one knows the origins of Divine Items, but they are the key to achieving godhood. Once every decade, a new one appears somewhere in the world, hidden in an unpredictable location—buried in forgotten ruins, locked away in royal palaces, or even hidden in plain sight within an ordinary home.

Some believe that hunting down and slaying a god is easier than finding a Divine Item, simply because these artifacts could be anywhere.

The Eyes of the Devil

Unlike Divine Items, The Eyes of the Devil appear once every fifty years and are far easier to find. However, they are significantly weaker in power. They can be obtained in the same way as Divine Items—by discovery or by taking them from another wielder.

Yet, there is one other way to obtain an Eye of the Devil, a secret known only to those who truly understand the nature of these cursed artifacts. The answer lies deeper within the story.
