Gan Yu quickly arrived at the teleportation point outside Liyue Harbor and waited quietly.
This road was the only route from Guili Plains to Liyue Harbor.
It was also the path Zhongli had mentioned, the one Takumi would take.
Gan Yu was filled with curiosity.
Who was this Takumi the Emperor spoke of?
Why had Zhongli made such a decision?
Regardless, since it was the Emperor's will, there must be a deeper reason.
Perhaps Takumi was even stronger than expected?
As she pondered, Keqing, the Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing, hurried out of Liyue Harbor and approached her.
"Gan Yu, what's going on?" Keqing asked, frowning. "You left your duties so suddenly."
Logically, Gan Yu was someone who never abandoned her work. And yet, here she was, standing by the teleportation point.
Something serious must have happened.
"Keqing!" Gan Yu greeted. "The Emperor has ordered me to wait for someone here—a person who can change Liyue."
Hearing this, Keqing's frown deepened.
"A person who will change Liyue? Are you joking?"
She had no idea what that meant.
Gan Yu shook her head, eyes filled with uncertainty.
"The Emperor really said so. I don't fully understand the situation, but I was told to wait."
Keqing was even more puzzled.
Change Liyue? What was there to change?
What exactly was Zhongli thinking?
"What else did the Emperor say?" Keqing pressed.
Gan Yu hesitated, then relayed everything Zhongli had told her.
When she finished, Keqing was stunned.
"The Emperor is... serious about this?"
Keqing processed the information, realizing that this might be a good thing after all.
Gan Yu nodded, a complicated expression on her face.
"The Emperor also said that Liyue must eventually be returned to its people. That's why this person is here now. I don't know exactly how it will happen."
She sighed.
The Emperor's meaning was clear.
Liyue needed to change—moving away from the influence of both Zhongli and the adepti, becoming a land ruled solely by its people.
When Keqing heard this, her initial confusion turned into excitement.
At first, she had been skeptical. But now, she found herself looking forward to it.
Without hesitation, Keqing decided to stay and see this person for herself.
The two of them waited quietly.
Passing merchants cast puzzled glances at them.
But when Keqing's sharp gaze landed on them, many felt nervous and quickly moved away.
After all, Yuheng Xing Keqing had quite a reputation.
Countless corrupt merchants had fallen because of her.
More than two hours passed.
Finally, a lone young man appeared.
Gan Yu was momentarily stunned by his strange attire, then turned to Keqing.
"That should be him," she said. "And… the Eye of God given by the Emperor."
Hearing this, Keqing carefully examined Takumi.
He was handsome but dressed in unfamiliar clothing.
"Let's go," she said. "We need to ask him directly."
The two hurried forward.
Takumi had already noticed them from afar.
Seeing them in reality, a flicker of surprise crossed his face.
They were beautiful.
Especially Gan Yu.
As expected of Teyvat—simply amazing.
"Hello," Keqing greeted. "I'm Keqing, Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing. Are you the one sent by the Emperor to change Liyue?"
She got straight to the point.
Gan Yu, already accustomed to Keqing's direct approach, followed up.
"Hello, are you Takumi? The Emperor asked me to come and receive you."
Takumi nodded at their words.
"I am Takumi. As for changing Liyue, Miss Keqing, you're exaggerating. The Emperor heard my thoughts and experiences from another world and decided, on a whim, to sign a contract with me. He hopes I can bring beneficial changes to Liyue."
"Besides, the Emperor wishes to retire. He simply wanted me to try and see if I could bring any improvements."
"Liyue is very similar to the ancient times of my homeland. Because of that, I discussed many things with the Emperor, and he believed my knowledge could be useful. That's why he invited me to stay in Liyue."
Takumi shared parts of his conversation with Zhongli.
After listening, Keqing and Gan Yu exchanged glances.
"Understood," Keqing said. "Then, please come with me."
She turned to Gan Yu. "Gan Yu, I'll go inform Ningguang and gather the rest of the Liyue Qixing. We need to hold a meeting."
There was no doubt—this was an important matter.
Gan Yu immediately agreed.
"That makes sense," she said. "Please go ahead."
Keqing gave Takumi a final glance before nodding and using her elemental skill to rush back to Liyue Harbor.
In a blink, she vanished.
Takumi was impressed.
Seeing Keqing's agility in real life was much more remarkable than in the game.
"Mr. Takumi," Gan Yu said. "Please follow me. I'll take you there and introduce you to Liyue Harbor."
She spoke seriously, extending an invitation.
Takumi nodded. "Thank you. I'm looking forward to seeing Liyue Harbor."
With that, Gan Yu led the way, and Takumi followed.
Looking ahead, Takumi could see just how vast Liyue truly was—far larger than the map in the game suggested.
Standing at this vantage point, looking down at the city below, felt like gazing at a modern metropolis from a mountain peak.
It was breathtaking.
Moreover, from here, Takumi could also see the floating Jade Chamber, high in the sky.
Gan Yu walked ahead, Takumi following closely behind.
Together, they made their way towards Liyue Harbor.
