I was back in the forest. Fighting my way through the monsters. And then I saw it, the 'Golden Lotus '.
And then I woke up with a start. Thinking about the dream. I had almost seen that dream everyday. " Oscar Grey! Come down immediately!". " Yes Mom! " replied Oscar.
The Golden Lotus was a story he heard since he was a kid. Some say it is a myth or a legend while some say it is just a made up story. His mother was one of the believers of the Golden Himalayan Lotus. It is said that whoever drinks it's nectar would get powers beyond magic.
" What happened mom? " asked Oscar. " The village's blacksmith, Mr. Kole has asked you to bring some Korals from the cave up in the mountain. " replied his mother. " Who else is going? " asked Oscar. "Jule , Oliver , Mr. Rist and Lucas."answered his mother as she made the pancakes. Oscar took the pan and started cooking until his father asked " Where is Grace and Ethan? Still sleeping, I suppose ."
After the busy morning, Oscar got ready to go to the mountain cave. As he joined the group his bestfriend, Lucas said " Had the same dream? " Lucas was the only friend who knew about his dreams because he too got them .
" Yes. But this time I nearly touched it. " There were only few chosen ones who got those dreams. They were special as they were the chosen ones to get the Lotus.
As they went in the cave to collect some Korals. They got attacked by some mountain elves. But as they had Mr. Rist and Jule, it was a child's play for them as they were in the king's army.
As they collected the Korals, Lucas asked " did you get to see which forest it was in?" the boy was still stuck on the same thought. Oscar shaked his head as his mind was on a strange shiny pearl. He thought that her sister, Grace might like it and took it.Just then Mr. Rist shouted " Keep your wands close to yourselves, we are going through the forest !"
After coming down from the mountain, Oscar went to the camp to train himself combat to improve his fighting skills. Oscar was a part of the king's clan. He was getting ready for tomorrow as there was going to be a test held to separate the athletic from the ordinary....
Before going back home he told himself, that nothing could go wrong. He had trained for the rest for more than 9 months.
"Oscar! Hey! Don't ignore me! Oscar! " shouted an familiar voice. "What, Authur? What happened now?" asked Oscar. Authur was a great friend of Oscar as he was trustworthy. Auther asked "Can you help me traolin for tomorrow, please?" asked Authur politely. "Umm.. alright. But try to do less mistakes"Oscar replied unsurely. Auther was known for his mistakes. He use to do so embarrassing mistakes that it became his style.
After 4 hours of continuous training, Authur was finally ready. "Thank God you didn't do many mistakes! You are surely gonna pass the test this time!" Said Oscar tiredly but excitedly.
During Supper, his mother said "I want to make a announcement everyone!". After everyone agreed to listen. She said " As tomorrow is an holiday and a very important day due to Ethan's 13th birthday, we will all go outside to the Aucc beach!". "Wait what? But Mom I can't go!"exclaimed Oscar. "Why dear?" asked his mother. "Mom, I have my test tomorrow! If I pass I can join the king's army! Wasn't it your dream?"asked Oscar.
