Devouring Descent

The whole world has plunged into chaos due to the rise of Sakens—a new and powerful species of monsters seeking to take control of the modern world. Humans have fallen, and nature has reclaimed most of the planet, giving rise to new landscapes along with bizarre climatic phenomena. Furthermore, the remaining surviving humans have begun to evolve, acquiring abilities and becoming Beholders. Aeron, a destitute young man surviving on danger, suddenly evolves after falling off a cliff, expected to die. He receives something far more divine, which also comes with a slight problem.
