A white expanse stretched as far as the eye could see. Freezing winds tore through the atmosphere, scattering it into glistening snow shards. Just one of those shards was enough to ignite the greed of merchants beyond Winterfall.
"What's going on? Is it a storm?" a little child asked his grandmother, peeking through the curtains of the carriage. He sneezed as a cold breeze entered his nose.
