Chapter 1: Rebirth of the Celestial Beast Sovereign

The air was thick with the scent of ancient trees and damp earth. The moon cast a pale glow over the hidden valley, illuminating the figure of a young woman standing in the center of a forgotten ruin. Feng Mian, once hailed as a prodigy in both martial arts and medicine, held a tattered scroll in her trembling hands.

Her heartbeat quickened as she unfurled the aged parchment, revealing intricate patterns of celestial runes and beastly markings. A hidden technique—one that spoke of a power beyond the mortal realm, a path to the Nine Heavens. Her eyes gleamed with excitement, yet deep within, a foreboding sensation clawed at her soul.

Suddenly, an overwhelming force erupted from the shadows. Figures emerged, their eyes filled with greed and cruelty. She had been followed. Before she could react, a wave of powerful energy struck her, sending her crashing against the cold stone. Blood dripped from her lips, but she gritted her teeth, refusing to surrender.

The world blurred as pain consumed her. A chilling voice echoed in her ears.

"Hand over the scroll, and perhaps we shall spare you."

Feng Mian smirked, her voice laced with defiance. "Over my dead body."

"Your clan has been annihilated think twice before you speak. "

The battle was swift and brutal. Outnumbered and weakened, she fell, her body collapsing onto the ancient ruins. As her consciousness faded, she thought not of herself but of her family—the people she had sworn to protect. Had they really dead?Did I make the wrong decision?

The darkness swallowed her whole.

---

A sharp pain shot through her skull. The scent of medicinal herbs filled her nose. Her body felt weak, fragile—so unlike her past self.

Her eyes snapped open, revealing a modest chamber lit by a flickering oil lamp. She tried to move, but her limbs were frail, her body covered in bandages. As memories flooded her mind, realization dawned upon her.

She had been reborn.

The reflection in the bronze mirror showed a different face—delicate, sickly, and unmistakably young. The name surfaced in her mind: Ling Huai. A neglected daughter of the Ling family, born with a rare illness that left her unable to cultivate. A disgrace to her lineage.

Rage and sorrow intertwined within her. Fate has given me another chance.

A cold smirk curled her lips. If the heavens dare to take everything from me again, I shall take everything from them in return.

She clenched her fists, determination igniting within her soul. This time, she would not be weak. This time, she would rise above them all.

Suddenly, the door creaked open. A maid entered, her gaze filled with disdain. "Oh, you're finally awake? I thought you would never get up. What a waste of space."

Ling Huai's eyes turned sharp. In her past life, no one dared to speak to her this way.

The maid sneered. "Your father didn't even visit. No one cares if you live or—"

Before she could finish, a ceramic cup flew past her face, shattering against the wall. The maid paled, stumbling back.

Ling Huai's voice was cold, her presence suffocating. "Leave. Now."

The maid hesitated for a moment before scurrying out, trembling.

Ling Huai leaned back, her fingers tracing the faint pulse of energy within her body. Weak, but not gone. I will not remain like this for long.

Outside, the stars shimmered in the night sky. She stared at them with unwavering resolve.

This life, she would reclaim everything. This life, she would ascend to the Nine Heavens.

This life… she would become unstoppable.
