He ruled not with kindness, nor cruelty, but with absolute sovereignty. The golden king, Gilgamesh—a being whose existence was beyond the comprehension of mortals, an elf who had lived since the dawn of their race.
To many, he was a myth. A figure of legend, spoken of only in whispers by scholars and long-lived elves. It was said he had grown weary of existence, that he had chosen to vanish from the world, leaving behind only ruins of his once-magnificent kingdom.
No one knew the truth.
No one believed he still existed.
But beneath the ruins of an ancient elven city, within a slumbering tomb untouched by time, he waited.
And soon, by fate or by chance, he would awaken once more.
