No one knows how the war begun or what caused the war. Humanity has even begun to forget which races the war was originally between. All we know is, we were forced to unite and take up arms in a war that had nothing to do with us.
Two races, the Apparitions and the Ravagers all originating from the planet Malocy descended onto the Earth on December 24th 2174. With their descent came chaos the likes of which we had never seen before. The fundamental anatomy of the Earth itself shifted drastically.
An evolution occurred. Between the year 2174 and 2190, an evolution that would change humanity forever occurred. Humans developed something new, something groundbreaking. Random people all across the globe had started gaining access to and using a mysterious energy that allowed them to tap into and control universal elements. The way to do this could be taught to others, this revelation provided humanity with the means to finally make an impact in the war.
The Apparitions, humanoid entities that possessed strang and unfathomable abilities that allowed them to do things humanity could only dream of doing. Ravagers, creatures ranging from all shapes and sizes, they possessed incomparative destructive force and powers that broke the laws of reality. These two forces had destroyed their homeworld with the ongoing war and had descended onto Earth intending to form a new battlefield for this war of theirs.
Humanity had successfully managed to stop these two mysterious forces from going into all out war and with their newfound talent and numbers had managed to reduce everything down to a few skirmishes. Humanity was by no means powerful, the two races just didn't want to accidentally eradicate this delicate race on this small planet at a random part of the Galaxy. Due to gentle pressure and slow rising tension, humanity was bearly keeping the war from reemerging once more and it stayed that way, until their newfound order collapsed.
Spires, mysterious and dangerously aggressive beings with the innate ability to create a singular skill when they are born descended onto the Earth. Their population had almost entirely been eradicated with the destruction of their planet and the sentient leaders of their race wanted revenge. They didn't carry the same sentiment about the humans as the first two races and bulldozed half the human population to death.
The final nail in the coffin was when a fourth race descended onto the Earth. They were the most powerful yet the smallest race of them all. Enigmas, powerful entities that grew with every kill. They each had their own unique way of benefitting from death.
The war was catastrophic. The Earth was reduced to nothing but a wasteland and humanity, or what was left of it, was forced out of the planet where they scattered across the Galaxy. With the war over, all four races have taken a portion of the Earth as their territory and are constantly battling each other for full supremacy over the planet.
Humanity, after being scattered across the Galaxy and forced to make settlements on other planets had a fire in its heart as it slowly recovered from the wound of a war that had nothing to do with them. Slowly building up power with the hope of returning to the Earth someday to win back their homeworld.

On a dark, cold planet. A large metallic building stood tall and firm in the middle of a blizzard. Deep within the building were hundreds upon
"Something humanity hasn't realized yet. Something that must never be revealed to the rest of the Galaxy." A man's voice could be heard on an old recording device. Three beings stood at the center of the abandoned research laboratory as the recording continued.
"There are hybrids among us. Abominations conceived from a human and one of the four races. They possess extraordinary powers beyond human limits. I captured and studied one of them for several years in this very lab. Listen carefully and I hope to God almighty that the one listening won't use this information to harm humanity." The voice said. The three men looked at each other but before they could start talking, the recording continued.
"These hybrids. They are not like us. They possess a very unique trait that humans do not. They possess, a spiritual core, the same as any of the four races but because they are part human, their core works differently from the others. The core allows them to tap into the Axionis. The Axionis is a stable, unchanging energy source that grants a singular, absolute power to its user. The core is known as the axion core. I call the absolute power they inherit as Axions. The core can't use the Axionis directly because its too pure of a power source, so it breaks it down into axion particles which it then gathers and stores allowing its user to use these particles to access the absolute power that was granted by the Axionis. All of this takes place in a dimension above all the ones we've discovered so far. Knowing this information, you also need to know that the hybrids and indistinguishable from normal people and can learn elemental techniques the same way we can. Getting these hybrids to work alongside humanity could finally grant as the power we need to take back our homeland. Whoever is listening, stay safe and God bless humanity in these hard times." The recording ended.
"Man, that recording must be real old. The old geezer didn't even know we already made that discovery. I wonder how he'd react if only he could meet a real paragon." One of the men said while laughing.
"Dumbass, he captured and experimented on one already, that's how he knew all that information in the first place, now let's get on with our mission and leave this godforsaken planet." The middleman said as the trio continued moving in deeper.
