Twisted celebration
It is the last day of the month, and as the tradition of weiyang dynasty insist ,it is always expected that a celebratory dinner must be held on the last day of the month,as as a way to remember the lost souls of the brave warriors of the kingdom and also to select a new group of warriors to keep protecting the kingdom from the other neighbouring kingdoms that always find a way to attack them for the fact that they can't retaliate no matter how hard they try.Of course,Felian kingdom is known for its strength,it is said that,no kingdom can battle with them without getting defeated, their warriors are classified to be the greatest warriors ever known and because of that,no kingdom has ever had the courage to challenge them, to avoid loosing their lives to them.
This year's celebration seems to be a very painful one,as the kingdom of weiyang has been experiencing some challenges in their kingdom, there have been no or little amount of food products,the rivers seem to keep drying up, animals and human beings keep on facing one illness or the other,due to the wicked act of the king, during his youthful days, which led to the anger of the gods upon their kingdom.While in search of solution,to the problem that has befallen the kingdom, the king was told that the solution to the problem is going to be a war between the Weiyang dynasty and the Felian kingdom, that if the Weiyang dynasty was to be able to win the war against the Felian kingdom, the king of the Felian kingdom is to offer them the great staff of peace , which is the only solution to their problem, but if it happens to be that they can't be able to defeat the people of the Felian kingdom,then, they will have to keep suffering for the sins committed by their king until his departure.On hearing the news, concerning the solution to their problem, the people of Weiyang dynasty began to panic for fear of loosing their lives to the people of Felian kingdom, because they know that they can't be able to defeat them for the fact that they have strong and great warriors,they would use against them.On the other hand, they are not yet ready to loose their king,concerning the fact that the king of the Weiyang dynasty have been kind and generous to his own people right from the day he became the king of their kingdom.
The prince of the Weiyang kingdom was on his trip to accomplish a mission, when he heard a loud scream coming from the inner part of the bush ,he stopped at the sight of a beautiful,young lady, running into the bush,he ran after the lady to know what would be the reason why she is running as if someone is after her life, before she could reach out to the lady,he saw two men who seemed to be the ones pursuing the beautiful lady,he stopped immediately he noticed that the men have captured the lady, so,he decided to hide behind the trees to monitor them and see what their next move would be,'tell us where to find it 'one of the men asked the lady,'i swear with my life that I don't know where it is 'answered the lady, 'but you are his daughter, how come you don't know where it is'said one of the men,'I know that i'm his daughter but believe me he doesn't tell us about the whereabouts of things like this'said the lady, you think we would fall for your lies'said by one of the men,'please don't kill me, i'm saying the truth,I know nothing concerning the whereabout of the staff please', pleaded the young lady with tears rolling down her cheeks.The two men looked at each other and one of them signaled the other to kill her,as he raised his hand up, ready to land his sword on the young lady, the prince reached out to him and killed him,after which he took the other one down also.After that,he turned back and looked at the young lady, stretched out his hand to her ,in order to help her get up from the ground, the young lady who was already filled with fear in her,was already moving back with fear of also being captured by the young man before her, the prince knelt before her, holding her shoulder,he said to her 'don't worry,no one is gonna hurt you, i'm here with you,ok', the lady nodded with fear and held on to the prince's hand,who later pulled her up,'what really happened between you and these men'asked the prince,'i know them from nowhere to start with 'answered the lady,'so,why are they after your life 'asked the prince,'i don't know, to be honest with you,I was on my way to the temple for my prayers, when I noticed two men following me,then I ran off , hoping to escape from them, not knowing that they've splitted up already ,I realized that I can't escape from them when I saw one of them before me and the other behind,they started questioning me about a staff which they claimed to be hidden by my dad, and I told them that I don't know the whereabout of this staff that they've been talking about, but they thought, maybe I was lying to them, that was why they were trying to kill me, but what I don't understand is how they seemed to know about this staff and what they want to do with it,I mean this staff is only known by few people who are supposed to be from the royal family,I need to find out who they are.
