Kylie's Pov:
"Hey you need to rest,you told me you were transferred if I remember,you don't need to be late on your first day of work" Jenny said reminding me of the work I have tomorrow.
"Yeah,I'll go rest now,can I spend the night here?" I asked and she frowned.
"Ask me that question again and I'll beat the hell out of you,you know this is your home" what would I do without her?
"Yes Mom" I replied,we laughed and said our good nights as we retreated to bed.I laid down but wasn't able to sleep with thoughts of Paul.
Gosh! Kylie stop this you have work tomorrow.I said to myself and after a while sleep took over.

The alarm woke me up at exactly 6:00am,I got up,hopped in the bathroom and came out a few minutes later,dressed up,my clothes were here,did my make up and headed out.Jenny wasn't awake yet so I wrote a note telling her I had to leave early.
I went outside and hailed a cab.
"Where to ma'am?" The driver asked.
"Silver Bird hotel" I said and he nodded.
I'm going to work as a secretary to the CEO of that hotel,I just hope he's not some CEO who scolds.
We arrived and I paid my fare,I got down and looked at the skyscraper in front of me.I wonder how the inside looks like.I entered the building and it was heaven.The walls were in gold and white color,the ceiling was made with marble white pearls a lot of things I can't describe.
I walked to the receptionist table.
"Hello ma'am,welcome to Silver Bird hotel,how may I be of help?"she asked with a smile.
"I'm transferred here as the new secretary to the CEO"I said.
"Oh,he's waiting,let me take you there" I followed her and she pressed 18 and the elevator began to move up.We arrived on the last floor and walked out of the elevator.
"Go straight the black door at the far end,that's his office" she said smiling.
"Thanks" I smiled back.
"One more thing"she had a serious face.
"He's kind of....you know cold,but don't let him bring you down,we've dealt with his shit for years,only if I could beat him up" we laughed together and said goodbye.
The hallway was kinda long I walked past seven doors and finally I was at this black door which looked heavy,I pressed on the bell attached to it and automatically opened,my heart thumped as I walked in.
Right behind the desk was this man with his head buried down on a paperwork.
"Good morning sir." I greeted and he ignored me,he lifted his head after a while and OMG
He was too handsome,an angular jawbone,sea blue eyes,neatly styled up hair and a cold and piercing gaze.
"So you're the new secretary?" he asked in that barritone voice.
"Y-yes sir" I replied
"Good,get me a cup of coffee"
"Yes sir" I said and walked to the coffee machine.
"Cream and sugar?" I asked and he gave me a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah,I get it" I muttered to myself.
"I heard that" he said .
I finished making the coffee and placed it on the table,he took a sip and put it back on tge table.
"That's your desk"he said pointing to another table at the corner of the office."I want you to finish working on these files before noon".There was a mountain of files piled up on his desk,how does he expect me to finish this before noon.
"Get to work" he said in a commanding tone.Without wasting time,I took the files and walked to my desk to work on them.
This was too much.
