Chapter 58: Funds Already in Place
Monday, November 3rd
As the weekend came to an end, Fang Hong also bid farewell to his brief romance with He Xuan, quickly regaining the composure befitting a financial mogul. The night before, Hua Yu had called to update him on the progress of their operations.
The 1 billion yuan in funding had been fully secured within a week.
At this moment, it was just before eight o'clock in the morning. Fang Hong changed into casual attire and walked out of his apartment with He Xuan clinging to his arm.
Suddenly, he said, "You'll have to head to school on your own today. I have some matters to take care of."
He Xuan glanced at him curiously. "Skipping class again? Alright then!"
When they reached the building's entrance, a brand-new BMW was already parked outside. Cao Chenghui, noticing Fang Hong's arrival, immediately stepped forward with a smile.
"Boss!" Cao Chenghui greeted, but his eyes soon landed on the beautiful young woman clinging to Fang Hong's arm. He was momentarily stunned before asking in surprise, "Oh? And this is…?"
He had already noticed the girl beside his boss, but now he sought confirmation.
Fang Hong smiled and introduced her. "This is He Xuan, my girlfriend."
Cao Chenghui pretended to be caught off guard, then immediately grinned and said, "Ah, so she's the lady boss!"
Hearing this, He Xuan beamed with delight but playfully corrected him, "Do I look that old?"
Cao Chenghui quickly waved his hands in apology. "My bad, my bad! Please forgive me!"
Fang Hong gave He Xuan a glance and said, "Alright, time for you to head to school."
She let go of his arm and smiled. "Mmm~ okay, see you later!"
As soon as He Xuan left, Cao Chenghui walked over to the car and opened the back door for Fang Hong. Once Fang Hong settled in, Cao Chenghui got into the driver's seat and started the car, heading towards the headquarters of Qunxing Capital.

Inside the Car
As he drove, Cao Chenghui struck up a conversation. "Boss, I never expected the Vice President of Huayang Group to join our company. That's quite the move."
Though he wasn't entirely sure why Hua Yu had made this decision, he understood that it was undoubtedly due to the boss's influence.
Fang Hong leaned back in his seat and said calmly, "Whether or not the general manager can win the trust of the team will depend on you. Hua Yu is more experienced than you, so make sure to learn from him. Until you can handle things on your own, consult him on important matters before making any decisions."
Cao Chenghui nodded repeatedly. "Understood!" He knew that the boss's words were golden. Right now, most of Qunxing Capital's staff came from the Huayang Group, and he was well aware that his greatest advantage in the company was his connection to Fang Hong.
During this time, Cao Chenghui had been working hard to improve himself—studying financial investments, attending executive courses, and trying to solidify his standing. He knew that although luck had landed him the general manager position, he couldn't keep it without real skills.
Fang Hong then instructed, "Also, arrange for a personal driver for me. As the general manager, you shouldn't be driving me around."
Cao Chenghui immediately responded, "Got it, boss!"

Qunxing Capital's Headquarters
Qunxing Capital's office was located in a Grade A 5A office building in the heart of the new city. Hua Yu had leased an entire floor, which could accommodate over 300 employees. However, at the moment, the company only had about 130 employees, all of whom had been recruited by Hua Yu from Huayang Group.
Notably, this 5A office building was a property owned by Huayang Real Estate.
After stepping out of the elevator, Cao Chenghui hurried to the reception desk and said, "Call Mr. Hua and let him know that Brother Fang is here."
"Understood, Manager Cao." The receptionist nodded and immediately picked up the landline to make the call.
Cao Chenghui then turned to Fang Hong and smiled. "Brother Fang, this way, please."
On their way up, Fang Hong had specifically instructed him not to call him 'boss' in the company. Strictly speaking, Hua Yu was Cao Chenghui's superior here.
As they passed through the public office area, the female receptionist at the front desk watched them curiously. She muttered to herself, "Who is that man? Manager Cao seems so respectful towards him."
At first, she assumed Fang Hong was a rich heir, but his attire was rather ordinary, not what she expected from someone with a wealthy background.
Meanwhile, Fang Hong surveyed the office space. He saw hundreds of employees working diligently and was quite satisfied. Hua Yu had proven his efficiency. He also silently appreciated Hua Yongming, who had essentially sent them a top-tier executive for free.
Moments later, Hua Yu walked out of his CEO office to personally welcome Fang Hong.
"Brother Fang, this way!" Hua Yu greeted with a warm handshake.
Fang Hong nodded and followed him into the office, while Cao Chenghui left to handle his own tasks.
The employees in the office area were surprised to see both Mr. Hua and Mr. Cao treating this young man with such deference. This instantly sparked curiosity among them.
Interestingly, only a few top executives knew that Fang Hong was the true boss of Qunxing Capital. Hua Yu had deliberately kept this information private because he understood that Fang Hong preferred to operate from behind the scenes, controlling everything without drawing attention.
For now, most employees still believed that Qunxing Capital was a subsidiary of Huayang Group.
As Fang Hong and Hua Yu entered the CEO's office, discussions began among the staff.
"Who is that guy? Even Mr. Hua and Manager Cao seem to treat him with great respect."
"No idea, but he definitely has a strong background."
"He looks like he's in his early twenties. Maybe he's the son of some big-shot chairman?"
"No way. His clothes aren't even that expensive."
"Who says rich kids have to dress fancy? Some of them prefer to keep a low profile."
"That's a fair point."

Inside the CEO's Office
As soon as they sat down in the lounge area, Hua Yu poured two glasses of water before speaking with a smile.
"Brother Fang, the 1 billion yuan you requested has been fully transferred into our account, and the trading room is set up and ready for operation."
Fang Hong nodded in satisfaction.
Hua Yu continued, "Additionally, I've negotiated with the bank. If we allocate the entire 1 billion yuan into stock assets within this week, we can use it as collateral for pledging by next week."
The bank he referred to was a local financial institution in Xincheng. Their willingness to provide such favorable terms was largely due to their trust in the Huayang Group's financial strength.
With the 1 billion yuan investment from Huayang Group, Qunxing Capital had gained:
A massive influx of liquidity
The expertise of Hua Yu, a top financial strategist
Access to Huayang Group's extensive network and influence
Stronger creditworthiness
Fang Hong was very pleased. "Well done." He checked the time and said, "The market will open soon. Let's head to the trading room."
