Alex's pov
My heart beat raced with excitement as Betty, my pet dog playfully chased me through the the shallow behind our mansion. We both having fun until Betty accidentally ran beyond the riff to the main way
" Betty no!!" I called out to a moving overspending car but I was too late, the car slammed into Betty as it shrieked in pain and shock. She died at the spot.
" No!!!!!!" I cried our in pain as I rushed to her already lifeless body, the road shocked with her blood
The car stopped instantly as the driver just kept on apologizing.
" Dave,why did we stop?" A voice demanded as the back seat window scrolled down, exposing a young boy in his teens but also looked older than I was.
" s-sir, we seem to have a pro-problem" the Dave guy stammered.
" What?!" The boy demanded looking provoked.
" You killed my dog!" I snapped at his arrogance.
" How much do you need to shut up?!" He demanded as my rage knew no bond
" I don't want a new one!" I cautioned.
" Suit yourself!" He snapped as he ordered his driver to drive off.
Angry tears rolled down my cheeks as he watched the car vanished by the distance, but I had a weird feeling that I would be seeing the devil soon.
