I never thought I would see this day in my life. It was usual day in our orphanage me and my best friend just woke up and where heading to the mess. We started hearing noise at the entrance of our orphanage. Went to the entrance and saw are sisters locking the gate and some people who did not look normal trying to break it.
My name is clare I am 18 years old in just a week I was going to leave the orphanage. To go to college I just got admitted in the college of my dreams.
I have been in this orphanage since I was 6 years old . I don't have any clear memory about how I reached here but I remember that I was in a car accident and my parents parents died. My life in this orphanaged was good but I always wanted to see the outside world .we we're taken out to parks and beaches but were always restricted to be in a place so I never got to know more about the outside world. Me and my best friend Annie are going to the same college as we always dream of but what happened this morning is going to change everything.
The sisters locked the gate and ask us to assemble in a room all of us got in the room they lock the door. And there sister told us that "there are zombie all over the town and we have to leave this town as soon as possible". my heart dropped because this is going to destroy all my dreams.
Then the sisters told that the "children's who about age of 18 will be going on on your own as we have many small childrens to handle, and in a while a bus will be coming and we will be heading to the safe campsafe children's who are above the age of 18 can decide to go on their way afterwards and once everything is settled you can come to the orphanage and collect your things"
And everyone in the room started cry after this announcement then everyone went to the rooms to collect there things as soon as possible. After while everyone collector the things which they needed and were standing in the front of the orphanage. And the sister told us "that no matter how things change, even if we will be able to meet again or not remember to rely on each other and never give up"after saying this the sister where also crying and at this moment it felt like a big burden to me.
Sister Mary who I was very close with came to me and told "you are special remember to always take care of yourself and the people around you and never give up no matter how things change and I wish to see your again".
After hearing this I started crying knowing that I am going to separate from my family the people who always stood for me . I told sister Mary that"I will see you again and I hope you will stay strong in this situation, and will always remember me".
