Chapter 1 - Day 1

A little bit more, it's almost complete.

Ahh, it's freezing.

I rub my hands together.

This room is so dark. I really need to fix the light. It doesn't look much better out there either, with all the withered vegetation.

THUD

The sound permeates my ears.

I turn around looking at the child who stumbled on the ground

Damn it, she's making a mess again

Luna: "Hey! Hey! Papa look at what I made!"

"Woah, careful! you're going to fall."

Catching her in my arms.

This girl is always so reckless. What am I going to do with her if she keeps this up.

Luna: "Hahaha, nice catch!"

"Sweetheart, please be careful."

Luna: "Don't worry papa I'm strong! Look what I made."

Luna enthusiastically shows her creation.

A flower covered in dirt with faint signs of life, began to slowly blossom as if being reborn.

Luna: "Look at what Luna made, Isn't it pretty?!"

She smiles while looking up at him.

The moonlight gives a gleam in her eyes.

I give a small evasive smile while looking at her hands.

That's strange... I believe should I have more time than this. I am so close, just a few more days.

"Luna, that's amazing. Did you do that all by yourself?"

Luna: "Of course I did. And stop treating me like a child already!"

Luna: "Luna will be able to take care of Papa one day!"

"Hahaha, oh yeah? The same girl who would always come cry to me all the time?"

She's so cute, I decide to indulge in teasing her

Luna face was filled with embarrassment.

Luna: "Papa! It's rude to say that to a girl!

"Sorry, sweetheart, I'll treat a clumsy girl like you more appropriately."

Luna pinches my arm.

Luna: "Geez you're still being mean."

"Ouch!"

I exaggerated a scream

"Okay okay you got me, now come around the fire."

Luna: "Hmph you better have learned your lesson."

Since when did she become so spoiled?

The time passes as the father and daughter continued bonding through the night
