Abandoned at 6 years old in front of the Royal Wolf's Palace Lily was taken into the servant's quarters and told she would be working from now on. Only having to clean her room at 6 years old she had no idea what they meant by working. Lily found out quickly the only reason they took her in was to use and abuse her. Lily stayed in the back of the Palace where no one ventured which suited her just fine. She was able to grow plants and study them. Lily felt lost and scared all the time because she still had a hard time remembering how she even came to this place. People started talking about how uneducated the ward was so it was decided that she would attend school at the Royal Wolf Clan's expense. Over the years Lily showed an aptitude for numbers and business so the Wolf King saw an opportunity to make her stay longer. "You will be serving me from now on. My secretary needs help with the paperwork for the territory and you still need to pay us back for saving you," the Alpha King ordered Lily when turned 10 years old. Having no other options and no hope she accepted her fate. "Yes, sir." She hoped one day to free herself from this Clan once she turned 18 and was considered an adult. Maybe find out what happened to her pack one day.
Sitting alone in her room after meeting the Wolf King, Lily picked at her food too depressed to eat. A knock made her jump, but she relaxed seeing Max. "Can I come in?" "It's your Palace." Lily replied looking back at her plants. Walking in Max could tell she kept her room clean even in this part of the Palace. "Father told me you will be attending school. Was there anything you wanted to study?" Max knew she didn't have many interests but wished to ask all the same. "Plants. Any class that talks about plant life." Lily mumbled under her breath, not looking when he walked to the door turning back. "I'll see what I can do." Lily wasn't sure what he meant, but maybe school wouldn't be so bad.
7 years past as Lily grew into a beautiful curvy woman who took her fate into her own hands. While she continued slaving over the royal family's many tasks, she also studied horticulture having cultivated several plants in an observatory in the back of the Palace. However when the day came for her to graduate high school Lily went back to check on her plants after receiving her degree, but they had all been ripped up and tossed everywhere, the windows smashed in. Lily seeing all of this was shocked since no one ever come back this far before. Dropping to her knees tears began rolling down her face as she gazed at everything in hopelessness. In that moment Alisa walks in looking far too satisfied, turning to taunt Lily. "Oh dear did all of you plants die? That's too bad." Lily looked up at her trying to figure out why she did this. "Why? This has been here for years and no one even cared. Why destroy it?!" Alisa looking at her nails for flaws chimes in. "I felt like it. This place needed tidying up so this was the first thing to go. Now you'll have to start over again." An evil grin on her face as she walked to the door. "Father is looking for you don't be late." Alisa strolled out the door laughing as she went. Lily looked around the room pissed off that everything was trashed. *Yeah, it's time for me to go.* This was the last straw as she packed her bag with everything that wasn't destroyed. Pulling out her mother's pendent from under her shirt she whispers, "I will do better." Setting the pack outside in the bushes near the exit she then makes her way to the Alpha King's office. He was sitting there writing something intently. When he finished he looked up at her gaining her attention. "You've finished high school now making you an adult. We will begin paying you a small salary to keep you. There is still a great deal of work to be done here so don't go slacking off." Lily clenched her hands trying to stay calm as he continued. "If you like we can move you into a statesman's quarters since this will be elevating your status. Do you have any questions?" Lily went to speak but was cut off by the King continuing his speech. "Good look through this by tomorrow. I have a meeting with the Raven Clan." Handing her an employment contract and a stack of paperwork half her height. He got up about to walk out of his office when Lily spoke just loud enough for him to hear, "I will not be staying here." This stopped the King in his tracks forcing him to look back at her. "Excuse me, what did you say?" Lily stood her ground looking him in the eyes. "I was accepted into the Dragon Academy and will not be staying." The King looked appalled by her words shouting, "You ungrateful b*tch! After everything we did for you, this is the thanks we get?!" In that moment Max walks in having heard the shouting from the entrance. "What is the meaning of this?" His father not giving Lily that chance says, "I just offered her a very good job working for us and she is turning it down to go to study at the Dragon Academy!" Max hearing this turns to her saying, "Is this true?" Lily nodded trying not to fidget. "So what is the problem father? She is a free citizen she has the right." Max and the King speak quietly for a moment giving Lily the opportunity she needed to escape. Turning around to see an empty room the Wolf King shouts, "Where did she go?! Guards!" "Find Lily! Drag her back here! Now!" Max thought about where she might be so he went about going to her wing of the castle. Upon walking into her room he sees the destruction that had happened. Seeing all the plants pulled up and her room trashed told him who did it. *No wonder she left.* Looking out the smashed windows he sees Lily with a pack on her back walking out the front entrance. All he wanted to do was chase after her and keep her near him, but this was Lily's one shot to gain freedom. Walking back to his father's office seeing his father frantic about paperwork Max speaks saying, "They won't find her father." His father looked up saying, "What?!Why?!" "Everything she ever valued was destroyed. I can only guess who with the mess left behind. You'll have to do the work yourself now." Max left his father to clean up his mess for once. "That f*cking bitch has ruined us!" the King shouted as Max left him to do the work for once.
