Alex blinked, still trying to process what just happened.His mind was all over the place, and for a second, he just stared at her face, trying to find the right words.
"Uhh…juice...Juice is fine."
Gloria nodded, turning around toward the kitchen.But before walking away, her eyes flickered toward Alex one last time, something unreadable in them.
Then she walked off, her curvy figure swaying naturally as she disappeared into the kitchen.
Alex remained standing there, his gaze lingering on her retreating back, his thoughts an absolute mess.

"I wasn't lying. She really isn't wearing one."

At the same time, she subtly pointed toward the kitchen, where Gloria had disappeared.
