Chapter 5 - First Sight of Bai Ye (White Tiger)

Kite was startled awake by the roar of beasts.

She turned her neck with difficulty and saw a battle raging between a massive green snake and a huge white tiger. Recognizing the thick, cyan tail of Viperus, she didn't know the white-haired tiger.

Viperus seemed to have the upper hand. The tiger was covered in wounds, blood streaming down its white fur, soaking the ground.

At this moment, the giant snake coiled tighter around the tiger, aiming to crush its bones.

"Viperus?" Kite called out tentatively.

Viperus, always aware of the little female's presence, immediately released his grip on the tiger and swam toward her.

Transforming back into human form, he gently helped Kite sit up, concern etched on his face. "Kite, are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Kite shook her head, her pale face turning to the injured white tiger.

The tiger shifted into a male orc, casually wrapping animal skin around his waist. After wiping away the blood, he approached Kite.

As he drew nearer, Kite noticed his impressive physique. He was tall, with smooth, well-defined muscles and an exposed upper body boasting perfect abs. His long white hair cascaded down, and his chiseled nose added to his allure.

What captivated her most were his gentle blue eyes, deep and dream-like, gazing at her tenderly. "Hello, little female, I am Bai Ye," he greeted with a warm smile.

Kite was momentarily dazzled. The men in this beast world were stunning, with the most mesmerizing eyes!

She managed a nod. "Hello, I'm Kite."

Next to her, Viperus's expression turned icy. He hated seeing the little female look at other male orcs, especially admiring their muscles. His mood soured, and he wanted to chase Bai Ye away.

"The Kite is awake, you can go," he ordered coldly, the temperature around them dropping.

Bai Ye, despite recognizing Viperus's higher rank and hostility, refused to be deterred. He spoke softly, "Can I call you Kite? I apologize for today's events. The boar scared you, didn't it? If I had arrived sooner, this wouldn't have happened."

Bai Ye recounted how he had been hunting nearby, following the boar when he saw Kite. The sight of the little female illuminated by the morning sun was enchanting. He had intervened just in time to save her from the boar.

Kite, understanding Bai Ye had saved her, smiled gratefully. "Thank you so much. I don't even know how to repay you."

Bai Ye, captivated by her beauty and manners, felt his desire to be her partner grow stronger. He must win her heart.

Seeing Bai Ye's intense gaze on Kite, Viperus grew even more agitated. He couldn't stand the thought of losing her.

Without waiting for the white tiger to answer, Viperus scooped Kite up into his arms and headed towards the cave. "To thank you for saving my mate, I'll send you plenty of prey. Now, go back to your tribe!"

Kite shrank into Viperus's embrace, silent. They had only been together for a day, and she didn't dare to provoke the cold snake beast. She extended a small, pale hand, waving it behind Viperus's back.

Bai Ye couldn't help but smile at the sight of the waving hand. He raised his own in return, even though he knew she couldn't see it.

As Viperus and Kite walked away, Bai Ye felt the pain from his injuries, and his wounds started bleeding again with the effort.

That snake beast was ruthless!

He decided to visit the little female another day; he wouldn't give up so easily.

Thinking of her beautiful face and soft body, he couldn't help but feel a rush of warmth.

As soon as he left, he found himself already missing her!

Meanwhile, Viperus carried Kite back to the cave with a composed expression.
