Chapter 1 - The Beginning After The Unexpected End.

As daylight filtered in through the silk curtains, delicate designs formed on my face.

I groaned, trying to push the feather-stuffed blanket away. The softness and warmth felt much more welcoming than my previous lifestyle's demeaning polyester sheets.

"Young Master, it is time to wake," a female voice entered my ear, which I can reorganize after hearing for 10 years now.

"Five more minutes," I mumbled, only to realize halfway that he was not James Cooper, a terribly overstressed software engineer.

I was Alexander von Rothschild a noble child born in this fantasy world of sword and magic set in medieval European time.

Sitting up slowly, I noticed that my maid – Martha had now fully opened the curtains.

The huge bedroom came into view with all its exquisite wooden furniture and sophisticated tapestries.

Even after ten years of living in this world, the pure luxury of it still shocked me.

The elegant morning routine unfolded as it always does. Martha helped me dress in expensive clothes that I was sure eclipsed my past monthly salary.

Another servant entered bringing a delectable breakfast of fresh bread, imported fruits, and something rather coffee-like in appearance but much more exquisite in tasting.

While consuming food, I thought I should tell you something about myself. I have a lot to say, but I'll start with the most important point.

I used to be a software engineer at a black company and a part-time web novel writer.

A fantasy novelist who was not well-known but still had a large fan base.

Of course not now that I've been reincarnated.

I had no idea why I had been reincarnated out of nowhere, but since I was a novel writer, I will tell you a little secret of mine.

We writers follow "The 5Ws" guideline, by investigating the Who, What, Where, When, and Why of a story.

But again it's not always going to get you all the answers like in my case-

Ques. 1:- "Who" reincarnated me..?

Ans. 1:- I don't know, maybe god or a beautiful goddess who can't see me suffering and decided I deserved better, or maybe they killed me by accident and are trying to compensate me no. The list will be on and on..so NEXT.

Ques. 2:- "What" had happened..?

Ans. 2:- Nothing much, my heart suddenly throbbed as usual while I was writing a novel, and I soon found myself unable to breathe.

I believe it was a heart attack. Since I lived on my own and was independent, no one could help me.

Well, it wasn't a shame or anything.

In the first place, my family was involved in a car accident shortly after I began university, leaving me alone. In a way, it was a lonely death.

What bothered me was the fact that I couldn't finish the work I was working on.

My death would be known, but I only felt sorry for the readers. So NEXT..

Ques. 3:- "Where" is this taking place..??

Ans. 3:- I was born into a noble family in the Solacean Empire in a world set in the Middle Ages.

Although our territory is in the quiet countryside, it had everything, and life was hundreds of thousands of times better than being born as a commoner.

Commoners were commoners because they were low-class citizens who dared not stand up to nobles.

Furthermore, I was born as the youngest, rather than the eldest, son in the family, and I was living a leisurely life free of power struggles.

Which I welcome with open arms because I have become very lazy after experiencing a life of luxury. NEXT...

Ques. 4:-"When" did it happen ..?

Ans. 4:- I told you, it's been 10 years since I reincarnated. NEXT.

Ques. 5:- "Why" did it take place?

Ans. 5:- I DON'T KNOW.....

"Young Master," Martha said with a curtsy, "shall I clear the table?"

"You may," I finished my breakfast and got up to go to the washroom since I drunk excessive water.

'So what should I do now from now on...'

I was thinking this while fastening the processes of taking out my little brother, but since I am not used to little hands doing delicate tasks..."Aaarrhhh" Something not very good happened.

"Martha!" I called out, my voice cracking in a most un nobleman-like fashion. "I need... your help."

The sound of muffled laughter from the other side of the door suggested that maintaining my dignified reputation might require some creative negotiation with the household staff.

If all of them get to know that their young master got his little brother stuck in his paint chain, it will be very disastrous.

Even if you get reincarnated in another world, some things never change...
