After buying something, Lioro and Hestia made their way back home.
On the way, they met Yoriichi.
"Nothing caught your eye?"
Lioro asked seeing Yoriichi standing empty-handed.
Shaking his head lightly, Yoriichi handed the money bag back to Lioro.
Looking at the money bag in his hand and then at Yoriichi's poker face, Lioro shrugged his shoulders before putting it away.
"You should have just come with us Yoriichi! We bought a lot of things!"
Hestia said with a bright smile on her face.
With that, the three of them continued their journey together.
Not long after they arrived at their new house, entered the place, and locked the door.
"Goddess, can you find a room on the upper floor and Yoriichi can stay on the ground floor, what do you guys think?"
Lioro said while looking at them.
It was a simple safety measure for Hestia's safety and nothing else
However, he heavily doubted any mortal would dare to harm a god since if they do when the mortal dies and their soul goes to heaven the god will be waiting to punish them for all eternity.
Yes, that was one of the main reasons why no mortal in the dungeon city ever dared harm a god.
"Where's your room Lioro?"
Hestia asked.
"My room? Well, I was also thinking of staying at the bottom floor, near the entrance....."
"Then I too will stay on the bottom floor!"
Lioro gave her a look and said plainly.
"If you like me so much, why not stay directly in my room? I don't mind sleeping together."
Damn!
Talk about being straightforward!
Hestia blushed.
Raising her hands she started hitting Lioro's chest.
There she goes again with her zero-damage attacks.
Yoriichi turned around and silently made his way toward a room.
After getting a few more hits, Hestia calmed down, grabbed her things out of Lioro's hands, and quickly ran to the upper floor.
Lioro smiled seeing her running away.
Moving his eyes he looked at the roof of their house.
He felt a familiar presence quitely hiding at the top.
7th tier undead, Wraith Assasin.
Retracting his gaze, Lioro made his way toward the back of the house.
On the back side of the house, connected with the fence, there was a small shed.
Lioro planned to turn it into his personal workshop tomorrow.
Entering the small shed, Lioro closed the door and started making magic scrolls.
With his new professions , His need for experience only increased.
This time, Lioro only made tier 1 and tier 2 scrolls as they were quick to sell.
After a few hours, he changed his disguise and vanished from the spot.
Meanwhile.
A small figure quietly made her way down from the upper floor.
Holding a white pillow in her arms she carefully stepped down the stairs, looked around, and then made her way towards Lioro's room.
"It's his fault for saying something like that..."
Quitely muttering to herself, with a red face Hestia carefully opened the room's door and entered inside.
Only to be disappointed the very next moment.
----
18th floor, Rivira.
The space trembled before Lioro's figure wearing his disguise appeared inside his shop.
Seeing the closed door, Lioro took out all the scrolls inside his inventory and carefully placed them around.
After he was done, Lioro went forward to open the shop.
'I wonder if my advertisement had any effect--'
Lioro's thoughts came to a sudden halt.
Because as soon as he opened his shop, the figure of a giant man entered his vision.
'Ottar?'
Lioro blinked his eyes in confusion seeing the giant boar standing straight with his arms crossed, blocking his view.
For a moment they just stared at each other.
In silence.
Until a voice came from the side.
"Are you going to invite us inside or just stand there?"
An unfamiliar voice came from the side, making Lioro turn his head.
It was an elf mage with long golden hair, wearing spectacles.
Hedin Selland
Then Lioro's eyes shone.
'Big buyer!'
Freya familia!
Ottar who was staring at Lioro, opened his mouth and said.
"Let us see your scrolls."
"Oh yes please come in."
Lioro gave way and allowed Ottar to enter.
As the boar stepped inside, Lioro glanced outside and was pleasantly surprised to see another famous face.
Finn!
Loki Familia!
Damn, he better secretly make some tier 5 scrolls....
He could almost smell the experience!
While Lioro was busy in his thoughts, Hedin had already picked up a scroll and was examining it closely.
Checking the flow of mana contained inside the scroll made Hedin unknowingly narrow his eyes.
Ottar simply stood in the side.
Hedin quietly checked several more scrolls before turning towards Lioro.
"Found anything you like?"
Instead of answering, Hedin asked.
"Did you make these?"
"Yes, I did."
Hedin fell silent.
Thinking quickly.
"So are you buying anything?"
Lioro asked, looking at Ottar.
The boar just stood there.
Staring at him in silence.
He looked a little menacing.
"Can you show us how you made these?...."
Hedin asked.
"No."
Lioro replied plainly.
Although he doubted they could copy his professional knowledge just by looking, but still.
Why take unnecessary risks?
"So how many are you buying?"
Lioro asked again.
Hedin looked deeply at Lioro's mask as if trying to sense something.
After a few moments, he said in a calm voice.
"We will buy everything..."
Hedin's words.
It was like music to Lioro's ears.
Not long after.
Ottar and Hedin could be seen walking out of the shop carrying huge bags on their backs.
The others in line were about to hurry inside but couldn't help but stop and curse out when they saw Lioro lock the door and put up a closed sign.
They all gave Ottar and Hedin a dissatisfied look.
"What should we do Finn?"
Riveria asked while glancing sideways at the pallum.
"Let's go and meet the mage, after all, we did wait for an entire day..."
Inside the shop.
Lioro looked at the several High-level magic crystals in the bag.
They were dropped by monsters on the lower floors.
Just when Lioro was about to turn them to experience, he heard someone knock on the door.
Placing the magic stones inside his inventory, Lioro opened the door.
The figure of a familiar pallum and a tall green-haired elf appeared in his vision.
"Hello."
Finn said in a friendly tone.
"Hello."
Lioro greeted back.
Finn smiled and said.
"Can we come in?"
Lioro turned to the side and made way.
Finn along with Riveria and an amazonian entered his shop.
Lioro couldn't help but glance at the amazonian's huge chest.
Tione Hiryute.
As if sensing his gaze Tione turned her head.
But Lioro was faster than her and had already made his way forward.
Tone tilted her head in confusion, wondering if she had sensed wrong.
Standing in front of Finn, Lioro said.
"As you can see, the shop is empty, a big buyer came just now and bought all of my scrolls."
"It was our fault for arriving late."
Finn replied while helplessly shaking his head.
Looking at Lioro he said
"As you might know, I am Finn and they are my companions..."
Lightly patting his chest, Finn continued.
"We are from the Loki familia and would like to ask if you are the creator of these magic scrolls."
Finn glanced to his side.
Riveria pulled out her hand from inside her robe, holding a magic scroll.
"I am indeed the creator of the magic scrolls."
Lioro nodded his head.
A light passed through Finn's eyes.
"Our Loki familia will soon be starting a new expedition for the lower floors and would like to purchase your magic scrolls."
"Oh?"
It seems the original story was about to start soon.
But then, what happened to Bell?
"You want to place an advance order?"
Lioro asked.
"Actually we were hoping for a different kind of cooperation."
"Different?...."
"Yes."
Finn nodded.
"Similar to Hephaestus familia, we will share a percentage of the loot from the expedition with you in exchange for providing magic scrolls up front."
It was an interesting proposition.
Currently, Loki was the only familia who would venture into the depths of the dungeon to the deeper unknown floors.
And in fact, most of their previous expeditions have generated a lot of wealth.
But there was just one single problem.
'Didn't they end up falling the expedition?'
He remembered the Demi Spirit minions attacking the Loki familia on the 59th floor or something?
It was mentioned in the sword oratorio story.
Unfortunately, he only saw one or two initial episodes of the side story since he was more interested in the main one.
Well, the main reason was that he switched from anime to novels during that period of time and couldn't be bothered with it because of masterpieces like Reverend Insanity, lord of the Mysteries, and A Will Eternal, etc etc.
Anyway, their expedition will end in failure, meaning a loss for those investing in it like the Hephaestus familia.
"I am uninterested in investing in your expedition."
Lioro shocked his head.
"I see....that's too bad."
Finn smiled regretfully and then said.
"Then we would like to place an advance order."
Magic scrolls were too useful after all, they could be instantly cast by anyone, and the only thing they needed to do was to tear the scroll, and boom the magic would appear the very next second.
"Okay, how many do you want?"
"Is there any discount?....."
Finn asked with an embarrassed look on his face.
It seems the Loki familia wasn't very rich either.
Or maybe they're just pretending to lower the price.
Who knows?
Lioro turned his head to look at Riveria.
Riveria looked back at him in confusion.
Looking at her beautiful and mature face, Lioro said to Finn.
"We have a special discount for beautiful women."
His words came out of nowhere.
It took a moment for the three of them to react.
Riveria was taken aback.
Did someone just compliment the beauty on her face?
Tione maintained her silence as if she didn't care.
Finn held his chin and thought deeply for a moment.
Then he suddenly raised his chin and pointed at Tione behind him.
"We have two here."
Lioro looked at Tione.
After thinking for a moment he said.
"No, she doesn't qualify."
Tione exploded.
"You bastard! At least say that while you're not staring at my chest!"
Just a moment ago she was on cloud nine after hearing Finn call her pretty.
But this piece of shit dared to say otherwise? While he was staring at her chest?
Fck he's still looking!
Tione's face contorted, turning hideous.
Lioro pointed it out.
"Look at her, she looked like an angry gorilla."
Following Lioro's words.
For a second.
Silence fell upon the place.
Then the very next moment.
Tione jumped straight at Lioro with crazy red eyes.
Finn hurriedly held her back.
"Kill him! I'll kill him!"
Seeing her murderous expression, Finn shouted.
"Tione stop!"
Hearing his voice, Tione regained focus.
"B-but captain....."
"Step back."
Finn said seriously.
"Okay....."
Tione took a step back with deflated shoulders.
However, she didn't forget to give Lioro a cold glare even as she stood on the side.
Lioro raised his hand and made a provoking gesture.
Tione tightly clenched her fists.
"Hah,a it seems a little incident happened... now for the magic scrolls...."
Finn lightly rubbed his nose and changed the subject.
Lioro also stopped messing around and went down to business.
After some time, Finn and Lioro finalized their cooperation.
Having completed the deal, Finn asked casually.
"Can you tell us which familia you are from?"
Lioro shook his head.
"If I told you then it will defeat the purpose of the mask."
"A reason perhaps...."
Finn muttered to himself in a small voice.
"If you're done then can you leave?"
Finn smiled and said.
"It seems we are not welcome."
"No that's not it."
Lioro waved his hand.
"Why would I hate a big customer? I have some other things to do today that's all."
"Hm? Then will you be going back to the surface? If you don't mind then we can go together....."
"I humbly reject your proposal."
"I see....then we will be on our way."
Under Finn's lead, the three of them left his shop.
Of course, Tione didn't forget to give him a threatening glare while walking out.
Lioro ignored her.
After Loki familiar left, Lioro closed the door and looked at his shop.
Before he took over, this place actually a blacksmith shop, meaning all the necessary tools for forgings weapons were present here.
Lioro silently pulled out several metals from his storage and looked carefully at them.
He was going to forge some nice equipments for himself.
----
Carrying the bag containing magical scrolls on his back, Ottar asked Hedin.
"Why did the goddess change her mind? She told me to bring the magic scroll owner to see her."
Hedin fixed his glasses and said.
"It seems she met someone more suitable...."
