The chaos in the cafeteria was quickly contained. Daichi and Takeshi were both dragged out of the lunchroom and escorted by the disciplinary officer to the principal's office. The students' whispers filled the hallway, but none dared to interfere as the two fighters were led to their inevitable punishment.
Meanwhile, Taro stood outside the office, his fingers gripping the phone tightly. He had a new plan, and this time, it involved the principal.
He took a deep breath and pressed Call.
Darkness.
Inside the Principal's Body
Taro's vision blurred for a second before he found himself standing in a well-furnished office. He blinked, adjusting to his new surroundings and quickly realized he was in the principal's body.
The principal, a tall, stern man with glasses and a thick mustache, was now at his mercy.
Taro glanced around the office and saw Daichi and Takeshi standing in front of the principal's desk, both looking frustrated, their faces still stained with food from the earlier altercation.
The disciplinary officer, a middle-aged woman, stood by, explaining the situation. "It was just a minor fight, sir. There's no need for severe punishment. Both of them will be warned and given detention."
Taro stepped forward, his voice coming out as the principal's deep, authoritative tone.
"No."
The room fell silent at the unexpected interruption.
The disciplinary officer, startled, turned to face the principal, who had never sounded so firm. "What do you mean, sir?" she asked, confused.
Taro's eyes narrowed. "Remove Daichi and Takeshi from this school. Immediately."
Both Daichi and Takeshi blinked in shock. They had expected a stern warning, perhaps some detentions, but this…
"Wait, what?" Daichi blurted out, stepping forward. "You can't do that! This is ridiculous!"
Taro ignored him, keeping his gaze fixed on the disciplinary officer.
"Both of them have shown no respect for the school, and their behavior has disrupted the peace. As of now, I'm expelling them."
The disciplinary officer was taken aback. "Sir, it's just a small fight. They've been through worse before, and—"
"No," Taro cut in, his voice unwavering. "They are troublemakers, and I've seen enough. This is no longer a minor issue. Remove them from this school, now."
The disciplinary officer faltered, trying to reason. "But… sir, their families will be devastated. And the other students are already gossiping about it. Wouldn't it be better to handle this internally?"
Taro, still speaking through the principal's voice, shot a piercing look at her. "If you are truly concerned about the students' future, you should've stepped in long ago. Now, remove Daichi and Takeshi from the school."
Daichi and Takeshi both were stunned, trying to process what was happening. Daichi's eyes widened, his anger flaring once more. "This is bullshit! You can't do this! You—"
Taro raised a hand, signaling silence. "And don't forget, you're not the only ones. All of Daichi's gang should go, too. They've been just as disruptive. Expel them all."
The room went dead silent.
The disciplinary officer, clearly shaken, looked back and forth between Daichi, Takeshi, and the principal. Her voice was filled with hesitation as she replied, "Sir, I—"
Taro's gaze hardened, his command final. "Do it. Now."
Takeshi, who had been trying to understand why he was being dragged into this mess, finally spoke up, his voice laced with confusion. "What the hell did I do? Why am I being expelled too?"
Taro's voice, cold and emotionless, responded as the principal. "You chose to associate with trouble. And for that, you will pay the price."
Takeshi opened his mouth to argue but then closed it, realizing there was no point. His fate had already been sealed.
The disciplinary officer sighed, defeated. "Understood, sir."
She turned toward Daichi and Takeshi, her tone softening. "I'm sorry, but you both are expelled. Pack your things. You will no longer be allowed on campus."
Both boys stood there in stunned silence, their expressions a mix of disbelief and anger, but they didn't dare to argue further.
As they left the office, the tension in the room was palpable.
Taro remained silent, his eyes scanning the now-empty room. He had achieved his goal—Daichi and Takeshi were out of the picture.
Now, it was time for him to leave. He canceled the call, the darkness swallowing him up.
Back in His Own Body
Taro blinked as he returned to his body, standing alone in his room. He could hear the distant sounds of school life outside, but in that moment, he was satisfied.
He had orchestrated a chain of events that no one would forget.
And this was only the beginning.
To be continued…
