*The next day Yami wakes up early, took a bath, and eats breakfast before the "Alarm goes off"*
*Alarm clock goes off*
"I'll stop by a flower shop and offer prayers to my family in cemetery before going to school." Yami reminded himself as he goes to turn his alarm off.
*Click*
*The way to the flower shop was on a different route from cemetery, so he need to take a long ride*
"I need to hurry to the cemetery after buying flowers, I don't want to be late today!" Yami pep talks himself.
*After he offers his prayers to his family, he immediately ride on his bike and went to school. On his way to school he stops at a traffic, where he saw a little girl passing at the intersection and a car was approaching really fast*
*Without a second thought Yami jumps off his bike, and run as fast as he could to save the little girl*
"Something's wrong with this little girl" Yami thought.
"I can't see her… shadow!? She doesn't have her shadow!!" Yami screams in his mind but he can't stop his motion for he was already in from of the car protecting the girl.
*Yami was hit by a car*
...
*and*
...
*DIED*
*Somewhere in nowhere*
"So, how was that for the Introduction?" 'Jade' asks his two companions about the story.
"I can't seem to find this story interesting. But I'm quite intrigue about the girl with no shadow." 'Sakra' was enticed by the story's introduction.
"Whaaat!? Introduction!? You call that an introductory of your story, and where did you get that kind of BS excuse for an Introduction!?" 'Shakya' was irritated by the story.
…
"Sigh, You know what? Since the kid's already dead, there's no point in discussing it further. Your introduction is basically the ending itself, and it SUCKS!!" 'Shakya' was really stress about the story's introduction.
"Wait, so that's it? That's the end of your story? I thought it was just the beginning. So, what happened to the little girl? I thought there's more to it? Aww, it sucks then!" 'Sakra' was so enticed by the introduction that he didn't saw what 'Shakya' was referring to.
"Just what I said, don't copy it!" 'Shakya' was so irritated that he even raised his voice to 'Sakra'.
"Ooooh! "giggles" I'm delighted that you both are enjoying this story." "giggles" "I wonder, where would this "Silas" kid take us, what kind of mystery will he unfold for us? What kind of future does he have?" 'Jade' was delighted with the reactions of his companions.
"He's dead!" 'Shakya' protested.
"Right, he's dead!" 'Sakra' agreed to 'Shakya'.
"I said, don't copy me!" 'Shakya' was now a bit mad by his fellow.
"Alright, I'm sorry." 'Sakra' quickly apologize to his friend.
"Is he really? Why don't we just watch this kid a little bit farther? And have a discussion later." "giggles" 'Jade' was the only one enjoying his introduction. LOL!
"Are you still sane!? Why would you watch the LIFE of a human who just DIED? He's dead man! He's dead! What a creep!" 'Shakya' couldn't comprehend what 'Jade' was thinking.
"Then why don't we have a look?" "giggles" 'Jade' happily invites them.
*Back to where the accident happened*
"What is wrong with that kid!? He destroyed my new bought sports car!" the car owner was enraged because of the dent caused by Yami, and he was fuming as he approached Yami's body.
"Hey! If you want to end your life, do it without causing problem to others and without destroying other people's property!" car owner shouted and kick Yami's head.
"Honey! Just leave it. Don't let something small ruin our anniversary!" A woman shouted from the car.
"Tsk! Pwe!" the car owner goes back to the car, and revs it.
"Someone, call an ambulance." A bystander shouted as the angry man leaves.
*The little girl sits beside Yami's body*
"You didn't really have to do that, Mister. I apologize and thank you for trying to save me."
"A human trying to save… a ghost, like me" She sobs and smiles.
"I am Elena, the last member of Imani tribe" Elena introduces herself to Yami even though she knew that he's already dead.
"Thank you for trying to save me, Mister. To show my appreciations to your action, allow me to pay it back, mister!"
*The little girl was the last member of SHAMAN tribe called "Imani", but got killed by an over speeding car on that same spot where Yami's body lies*
*Even though she was still a little girl, she already learned and master all the powers in her arsenal, one of it was the power to transfer someone's life energy to another person*
*As Yami's body lied there, oblivious to the chain of fate pulling him forward, the girl reached out, her ethereal hands glowing with the power of the ancient rite*
*With a delicate yet determined gesture, she placed her left hand on Yami's head, her fingers tracing the invisible lines of his soul, and extended her right hand towards his chest down to his core. The air around them shifted, vibrating with the quiet hum of magic. The ritual she invoked was an ancient one. A transfer of life force, the essence of vitality exchanged between two beings. It is a forbidden rite, known only to those who had glimpsed death and returned to the world of living and wield its power.*
*Which in her case, although she was already a died, but due to her massive life force she couldn't cross to the other side and was tired in her current situation, thus she wanted to help Yami more*
*The girl's spirit, fragile, and fading, began to dissipate as she channeled her remaining life force to Yami, her power was exhausted, and her glow weakened. The strength of her life force, surged through the ritual, infusing Yami with the warmth of renewal*
*In the stillness of the moment, no sound filled the air - only the quiet exchanged of power, the echo of a ritual lost to time. As the final pulse of her life force left her, the girl smiled softly, content in knowing that she had used her life force to help someone worthy*
"Mister, thank you for showing me that there are still humans worthy to be saved." As all of her life force were transferred into Yami's body, it starts to have a pulse again, and was rushed to the hospital.
"Inaudible" the girl spoke to his ears for the last time and before she disappears.
P.S – I apologize if the story looked a bit rushed, but I tell you, the author actually rushed it since it was post-prequel to the main story, and for us to start the adventure. So, in the next chapters please bear with me, for the author fastened it a bit more, and we apologize again for that. Thank you!
