Somewhere Beyond the Boundaries of Reality…
There was no explosion.
No ripple in time.
No cosmic tremor to signal the loss of an entire existence.
It was simply gone.
A vast omniverse, once containing infinite realms, countless civilizations, and timelines stretching into eternity—vanished without a trace. No ruins remained. No echoes of memory. Not even the void where it once was.
It was as if it had never been imagined in the first place.
But someone noticed.
The Edge of the Multiversal Nexus – Astraea Velzaria's Observatory
Astraea Velzaria, the Architect of Infinity, felt the disturbance before she could see it.
Sitting before a vast cosmic library, she had spent eons recording every structure of existence.
She had mapped every layer of reality, charted the unseen dimensions beyond omniversal reach, and built bridges between realms that even the gods could not cross.
And yet… something was missing.
Her celestial observatory, which reflected all possible futures and pasts, now had a blank space where there should have been an entire Omni verse.
She whispered a name that no longer existed.
Nothing answered.
Her hands trembled as she checked her records.
The books of existence, which contained the fabric of every living being, had missing pages.
No… not missing.
The pages were never written to begin with.
Something had reached into the foundations of all things and erased reality itself.
For the first time in eternity, Astraea felt fear.
Seraphina Vaelis, Guardian of Time, Arrives
At that moment, a golden rift opened in the sky.
A woman in flowing robes stepped through, surrounded by the glimmer of countless stars caught in her wake.
Seraphina Vaelis, the Chrono-Sentinel.
She was one of the few beings who could traverse time without consequence, her existence stretched across every possible timeline and yet, as she arrived, her expression was grim.
"Astraea," she said in a hushed voice, "tell me I'm wrong."
Astraea looked up from the empty records.
"You already know the answer."
Seraphina clenched her fists.
"I searched through all of time. Past, present, and future. There is nothing there."
"Not even a remnant?" Astraea asked.
"Not even a shadow of what was lost," Seraphina whispered. "It's like it was never real to begin with."
Astraea felt her pulse quicken.
"Then it has begun," she said.
Seraphina turned toward the endless sky.
"I'll contact Xal'Zyren."
Elsewhere – The Throne of Definition
At the peak of all things, where the highest form of existence resided, there was a vast, luminous throne. Here, in a space where reality itself was woven into meaning, sat a single figure.
Xal'Zyren Valthor, the Ruler of Reality.
With a single thought, he could define existence itself. With a single command, he could rewrite what was real and what was fiction. And yet, in that moment, his eyes remained fixed on the blank space beyond the omniverse. A disturbance in the laws of creation itself. He had felt it before it even happened. Something had reached into his dominion and erased a universe in a way that should not be possible. It wasn't simply destroyed. It was unmade. For the first time in eternity, Xal'Zyren felt something unfamiliar. A presence that did not belong anywhere within his rule. And then, a whisper reached his mind. A voice that did not exist.
"We were never meant to be."
The very air trembled as an unseen force slithered through the cracks of existence.
Xal'Zyren Valthor stood from his throne.
His form burned like the essence of reality itself, his presence so absolute that the very concept of change obeyed his will. He reached his hand forward, ready to redefine the missing omniverse back into existence. But the moment his power touched the void, it failed. His eyes widened. That had never happened before. Something was blocking his ability to restore what was lost.
Something that should not exist. Something that was never written into the fabric of reality. And for the first time in eternity, Xal'Zyren Valthor realized—
He had an enemy.
Elsewhere – A Hollow Space Beyond Reality
Beyond time.
Beyond creation.
Beyond anything that was ever imagined to be possible.
A void pulsed.
A being stirred.
He did not have form.
He did not have a name.
Because he was never meant to exist.
But against all logic, against all rules, against the very concept of being, he was here. And he was waiting.
X'theraion, The Unwritten.
The war had begun.
