Ester explains to Amier that Daniel's God Cube works by his dimension is a direct copy of the real world called a mirrored world, they reside on the same plane of existence. That is why providence one seems like a ghost town, before they had Daniel, it was hard for the rebel forces to be in contact with one another, now that they have this pocket dimension they are able to coordinate with each other better and allow a safe place for God Candidates. Now they have their little forces in District One who are the ones that try to save the lives of God Candidates before the Inferno Forces can get to them. Before they had Daniel's amazing gift they were struggling to keep up with their forces that their numbers had and the pace that they were taking children and adults. They're now able to tell when someone's soul length is flickering thanks to Esters ability and with Dimension Shift they are able to teleport and bring people into the dimension.
Jair explains to all of them about part of what has happened to him and his first impression of everyone is that they are all nice and that he enjoys having kids around his age who have been through similar struggles understand what's going on with him. The kids are grouped together from the districts they are from, since most of their experiences are similar. The kids are then called to eat dinner by one of the attendees, they get to the table and sit down and Matis and Meke start the prayer and everyone except for Jair and Iyanna rechant what Matis and Meke are saying. They are new so they haven't learned they're ways in how they do things. The kids are eating and Jair asks, "Can someone pass me the potatoes." Matise with an attitude tells him, "Get up and get it yourself, I know you're used to everything being handed to you." Meke then looks at Matise with an upset face and says, "leave him alone and stop being a dick, you don't know what he's gone through." Jair's feelings being hurt, he runs to a room and just starts crying. He says to himself, "I wish I had my mom with me, she would know what to do." Iyanna goes in to check on him, he quickly gets rid of the tears thinking back on how his life was before all of this happened. Iyanna says, "If you ever want to talk about it, I'm here and one of those reasons is thanks to you, I appreciate everything that you've done for me." without knowing it really Jair had saved her life because if it wasn't for him, she would have been taken by the Inferno Forces. Jair laughs and says, "Thank you but I don't think I saved you, I just wish I could have saved my mom." Iyanna says, "I've also lost my mom and a young age. The inferno forces found out that my mother was the daughter of royalty before the Inferno Forces took over and took her away and probably killed her. So I know what it's like to lose a mother, I know everyday that she still loves me." Iyanna starts to cry in the middle of her sentence and gives Jair a hug and says, "It will get better, if you allow it."
A broadcast appears and Inferno announces to everyone that they have watched the events transpire and if anyone dares to oppose the Empire, please come forward and try and their whole district will be destroyed as well. He also reiterated that if anyone is a God Candidate they should turn themselves in and if anyone has knowledge of one that they will be rewarded greatly with any information given. All the citizens were cowardly in fear of being killed and after that broadcast, a lot of anonymous tips started coming into the capital. The Inferno Forces plan is to move forward towards total domination of everything, the world that they own, the next world and so far and so forth but he needs the manpower in order to do so. Inferno holds a meeting with all the council members in regards to getting the generals stronger and getting their lieutenants stronger as well so we can have more of a chance to conquer more of the lands and planets. He tells them that project Camelot is nearly complete and with the advanced technology we will be able to advance. In a few weeks, we will invade Latari, the country closest to us.
The kids go to eat in the dining hall but at the kids table and start eating their dinner, as they are sitting down Jair decides that he wanted to sit with Meke, Jair asks Meke if "its okay if I sit there" Meke says that it'll be fine as he sits down Matis who has his food in his hand starts to turn a little red, wanting to sit next to Meke but there is no space because Jair is to the right of Meke while Sofia is to the right. Matis, annoyed that he was not able to sit next to Meke, finds an open seat next to Luke. Once the kids got situated in their seating, they began eating. Jair curious on how Meke ended up with the rebel forces says to Meke, "How did you end up here?" Meke looks at Jair and says, "I am still trying to eat, I'll tell you after I eat" with an annoyed look on her face. Jair says timidly, "I was just asking, you don't have to be rude about it." Daniel sitting next to Jair says, "Bro don't take it personally that's just how she is" Jair looks at Daniel then looks at his food and takes a bite of his pasta and ponders on what he could have said better to Meke, So she doesn't react like that again. After taking a pause he then looks at Daniel and says, "Thank you, I didn't take it personally, I might have come off the wrong way" Daniel says, "I don't think so but if it helps you get through the meal then by all means believe it" and starts laughing. Jair, confused on why Daniel is laughing, starts to laugh too. Daniel's face turns semi serious as he tells Jair, "I know it may not seem like much but the fact that we are alive and here means a lot to me because I am able to help people like us and people who didn't get a second chance get one. While some people would rather not have that second chance." Jair confused asked, "What do you mean by "would rather not have that second chance." Daniel explains,"it is a good reason on why some people might not want it, for example Meke over there family was killed right in front of her and as she tried to run they stabbed her through her back hitting her heart and was pronounced as dead and now she has nothing to live for." Jair asked, "How did she survive?" Daniel tells him, "That's a story that she will have to tell you one day." Daniel looks back down at his food and takes a sip of his soup.
At the other part of the table before Daniels and Jair's conversation took place Matis is staring hard at Jair and Meke, ever since he had sat down he has been looking in their direction. Luke looks at Matis and tries to pinpoint where he's looking and notices that every time he sits down, he makes sure that he sits with Meke. Once Luke puts everything together he starts to scream, "OH YOU LIKE MEK…" before he could finish that last syllable Matis turned over and covered Lukes mouth with his hands. Everyone turns to look at what happened but no one really heard what Luke said because they were trapped in their own conversations. Matis, all flustered and red, grabs Luke by the collar and asks, "why would you say that." very nervously. Luke says, "Well I was just guessing by looking at how you reacted to what I just told you, and let go of my collar." As he pushes Matis off of him, Matis is upset that he figured out his little crush on Meke. Matis says, "I command you to fall" as he says that Luke starts to fall on his knees. Luke says, "oh you think you're funny huh." Matis remarks by saying, "Yea, Im pretty funny." and starts to laugh. All of the other kids start to back away before they get caught in the crossfire. Sophia says, "what happened to make them want to fight." Luke then creates vacuum sealed air spheres around his ears to block him from hearing Matis. Luke launches a huge current of wind towards Matis, Matis is sent flying in the air when he says, "I command myself to fly" Matis then starts flying mid air. As Matis catches himself in the air, Luke launches himself in the air and hits Matis towards the ground with a huge gust of wind. Ester walks in the dinning hall and yells, "HALT ALL OF THIS NONSENSE." As she helps the boys up and scolds the boys for fighting she says, "what in your right mind would possess you to do such actions to each other." They look at each other scared of getting in trouble and both say at the same time, "HE STARTED IT" as they point at one another. Ester tells Luke and Matis to "Return to your quarters and think of how you guys have been disruptive to your peers." Annoyed that they got in trouble they stomp to their rooms. Jessica mumbles, "Luke is kinda strong" under her breath. Sophia hears her mumble something and says, "Hey did you say something just now." Jessica says nervously, "hahah, no just….. Uhhhh can't believe they were fighting." Sofiha asks Jessica, "are you also from the Eastern district?" Jessica says, "Yes I am, also you can all me Jess" and giggles.
