In a world where humanity is threatened by monstrous creatures, Firefly struggles to navigate her own turbulent life. Despite her struggles, Firefly found solace in her friendship with Sung Jin-Woo, a charming boy (in her opinion) grappling with his own challenges, including his mother’s illness. As she secretly battles an incurable illness of her own, Firefly hides her struggles from Jin-Woo, reluctant to add to his burdens. Their bond strengthens during their school years, though Firefly knows he sees her as only just a friend and nothing more. When they embark on one last dungeon adventure together, Firefly doesn't want to burden anyone else with her sickness so she called it quits after this. What they are unprepared for is the life-altering events that await them. This fateful day will test their friendship, reveal hidden truths, and force them to confront the dangers lurking in both the world outside and within their hearts. As they fight for survival, Firefly must come to terms with her past and decide what she is willing to sacrifice for the future they both dream of.
