Harry Potter was one of the first books I ever read, and then I couldn't stop until I had finished them all. It's a fantastic and incredible story that transports you to a magical universe. I could say more, but that's not the point; I always thought that perhaps there were some battles or deaths missing (yes, well, I'm quite fatalistic).
And then one day, while rereading HP1, there was a part where Harry asks Hagrid why magic is hidden from Muggles, and Hagrid responds that if magic were revealed to Muggles, they would want magical solutions to their problems. It was a very simple answer, but a true one. Humans would want to use that power—some for themselves, and others for the greater good. And then I thought, there could be a good story about a war between non-magical people and magical people over power. And you might say, "But Muggles couldn't possibly win—it's clear who the victor would be." Yes, but no. How many times has humanity faced greater threats like aliens, zombies, superheroes, villains, disasters, monsters, demons, and gods? Of course, all of that is fiction, and this story is too.
So, I started looking for a fanfic that explored this idea, but mostly I found a lot of shipping—some very good, others weird, and some downright strange and disturbing (it gives me chills to remember them). There were few that narrated a new adventure, but none with this idea. So, I told myself, why not write it myself? And here we are: let's see how it turns out XD.
Clarifications:
This is a fanfic based on Harry Potter.
It's necessary to know the plot of the books or movies (obviously, if you don't know who Harry Potter is, what are you doing here?).
This story takes place 20 years after the Battle of Hogwarts.
What happened in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child never happened ,
Most of the information was taken from the Harry Potter Wiki.
I'm not very good at English, so if you find a mistake, I would greatly appreciate it if you let me know. Thank you!
Enjoy!
