The light of the moon illuminated the night sky
In a dark room in a massive traditional castle, a four-year-old Akashi was having an agitated dream.
Part of his long red hairs were sticking to his forehead due to the sweat.
"Arghā¦"
Akashi woke up shouting, his little chest moved heavily up and down as he sucked in a large quantity of air.
'This isn't possible! What was that? A dream or a genjutsu!?' he questioned himself as he looked around him before letting a sigh of relief as he took in the familiar surroundings he was still in his exaggerated large room, a place big enough to serve as a house for normal people.
"Woosh,"
With his sharp mind, he recalled the content of his dream which was the life of a certain blond-haired kid who was the child of prophecy of the world.
'Naruto, Sasuke, Otsutsuki!'
'it must be a genjutsu, a powerful genjutsuā¦ But what if it isn't,'
He remembered that the containment of his dream was extremely elaborate and contained things that he wasn't aware of, but the most important thing was the destruction of Uzushiogakure near the end of the second ninja war.Ā
"Bam,"
"Akashi!"
"Ouch," grabbing his head that had been smacked he looked up only to see his mother looking at him with a worried expression.
"M-Mom! What?"
He didn't have the time to understand what was happening when he found himself in her arms.
"I was so worried baby, you were just there mumbling incoherently, you didn't even notice my presence, what happened?" she asked looking at him anxiously
he realized that he had been so focused on his dream that he had blocked everything else leaving him vulnerable something that never happened before since he started his training which greatly worried her.
"Ah, s-sorry, it's justā¦" he apologies meekly
"Waitā¦" he suddenly grabbed his shoulder and pulled him toward her
"Huh,"
Akashi shrank under his mother's intense gaze
"You, when did you wake you Sharingan?" he asked looking at his eyes
"My Sharingan!" he exclaimed surprised.
Noticing his surprise a mirror appeared in her hand.
Looking into it Akashi saw that his usual red eyes now had a black tomoe in them,
"How strange!" he said
"Nothing strange in it, you are a Uchiha so this is normal that you awoke those eyes." Kana said said but what she kept for herself that his sharingan were a little reddish nearly blending with the red part.
That combined with the fact that she was quite anxious made her overlook them.
"Let me help you with them," she said taking out a little book with the fan of the Uchiha on it.
"Your father let me some instructions for this situation,"
After a few seconds Akashi could activate a desactivate his sharingan at will.
Kana had never hidden Akashi's parentage, so not only Akashi himself but the people of Uzushiogakure and Konohagakure knew that Akashi's father was Mikado Uchiha the disease first son of the first elder of the Uchiha.
And that was the reason why even though he was from the direct line of Ashina Uzumaki the head of Uzushiogakure and a prince, they were cut off from Uzushio.
This is also the reason why the massive castle they inhabited didn't have many personnel.Ā
Wiping the sweat from his forehead Kana sitting in front of her son looked at him and asked seriously.
"Now! What happened?"
"What?"
"I'm asking, why did you scream a few minutes ago, and what made you awaken your Sharingan?"
Akashi looked at his mother who was now scrutinizing him, but he could tell that she wasn't using her mind eye on him right now.
'Should I tell her?'
He mused inwardly after all he himself was not sure why he had that premonition, if it was even real and all it's emply, he knew that if even if he lied and decided to hide that she wouldn't force him.
'But what if it's true!' he thought and the fate of Uzushigakure of his dream flashed before his eyes and that was all he needed to make his decision.
"It's becauseā¦"
He started slowly to explain everything he saw and everything he knew in his dream and about that.
He didn't know when but at some point he ended up lay back down on the bed and soon sleep took him.
Kana lay on the bed was slowly patting her son's as he sleep while her own mind were in turmoil.
She had listened to Akashi's story as he recounted and explained everything he had saw in his dream, in the beginning she thought that it was just that, a dream, but soon she saw things differently.
Akashi started to describe thing that she couldn't know, people that he shouldn't know, place that only a few select people should know about, and secrets that even her had no access to and as the person that had been with him at nearly every instant of his life she knew all that he should and shouldn't know.
She was so rattled that she ended up using her mind not only to confirm that he wasn't lying but also to make sure that he was still her son and that his body hadn't been taken by someone else.
After a while, she got up and slowly walked out of the empty castle with her mind in turmoil.
"Did he see the future, or is it something else,"
As she walked her beautiful and luxurious red and white kimono slowly trailed behind her.
"If it's the truth, it means that we are all in danger,"
She looked behind her at the castle where she was banished for the crime of having a child with one of the historical enemies of the clan.
The Uzumaki had long lives and one of the consequences of that is that a lot of them have fought and lost friends and family during the warring state periode in their fight with the Uchiha that have been one of their fiercest enemy due to their relationship with the senju.
Letting out a sigh Kana flickered in the direction of the village.

Uzukage Office
Ashinta Uzumaki was seated in his office reviewing a few documents when
"Swoosh," a red-haired man appeared and kneeled beside him
Without lifting his eyes of his documents he asked
"What is she doing?"
"She has been reviewing the report on the war since she arrived, particularly at the movement and strategies of the other great village."
"Oh, and she has also taken a look in Konoha's book of forbidden jutsu."
"Oh," He raised an eyebrow at that.
Contrary to what people think Uzushiogakure didn't share their knowledge of sealing jutsu with konoha for nothing, they exchange them against a few of the technique that had been created by Tobirama Senju at the time, even though nobody ever use them.
After all, Uzushio had their own forbidden techniques.
"I see!" Ashinta said nonchalantly before casting a glance to his left where his daughter Kana Uzumaki was seated.
"Tap," closing the document he disappeared from his office.

"Good morning, Dad," Kana greeted without lifting her head from the books of forbidden jutsu
"You aren't authorized to read that book,"
Looking at her father Kana frowns a little
"I have been sneaking up here to read that book since even before my majority, I know nearly all the techniques in them by heart you know that, so what do you mean I am not authorized to read it," she replied meeting his gaze.
The two looked at each other for a while before she let out a defeated sigh.
"I already got what I wanted anyway, and I'm not here to fight you,"
"I have something to tell you, it's about Akashi," she said
Ashinto gaze immediately hardened upon hearing that name
"I already told you that I don't want to hear anything about that damn brat,"
"Don't call him that. He is my son and your grandson!" she shouted at him
"I understand that you have lost many dear people against them, but those times are over, and you helped make it possible in your time with Aunt Mito, Akashi is just a good kid, mine child,"
Seeing as he just remains impassible she laughed a little
"you were the one always telling me that family is more important than anything, I see that it was all a lie,"
"Anyway, Akashi had a dream last night." She said before recounting a little of Akashi's dream to her father
"This is just a kid's nightmare, he must have been frightened by the war stories that he heard on his last visit to town."
"I used war stories to put him to sleep for a long time,"
Kana refuted his claimed
"Do not put so much importance on kids dreams, this isn't the first time that one attribute mysterious powers to their children, but dreams are just dreams."
"He knew things that he shouldn't know, even things that even I only recently discovered, I even suspected that he was possessed at some point, you need to be."
"The has lasted for ten years now and in those ten years we have been attacked numerous times by the other nations and we always managed to repel them when things became hard konoha always had our back, and you want me to believe that kid dreams that our long time allies will abandon us and even plot our destruction,"
"Do not be ridiculous if Uzushio ever got destroyed Konoha will find itself without allied against the other four ninjas' village,"
Kana wasn't surprised the Naruto Kanon that Akashi saw doesn't include it but Uzushio had been attacked by the others nations not only in the first ninja war but also in the seconds one and they had always manage to repel their enemies.
Seeing that her father will not change her mind she decided to let it go, she knew that he wouldn't easily believe her, between a long term alliance and friendship of many years and the dreams of a kids that he saw a handful of time in his life the choice was obvious.
"I told you what I needed to tell you, you are free to do what you want with that information. I'm leaving with Akashi for Konoha tomorrow,"
"Ah, weren't saying that we should be wary of Konoha and now you want to go hide there, or maybe you are hoping that the Uchiha will welcome him with open arms,"
"You don't have to worry about that they hate me, and the old man holds me responsible for the death of his son. I'm going there to say hello to Aunt Mito, you know the only relative that still treats me with affection, and I want Akashi to pay his respect to his father."
"And then!"
"And then we are going to travel and see the world a little instead of being trapped here in a place where he has barely any friends of his age,"
With that, she walked away.
"Kuroko will go with you," Ashinto said before she was too far away.
And as if he was afraid she misunderstood his intentions he clarified
"The war isn't over yet, you hold a lot of secrets of Uzushiogakure and Konohagakure in you, if you were to get captured, it would be disastrous for us all," Leaving those words behind, he disappeared from the room.
