Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 – The World 1000 Years Later

Year 3508.

A millennium had passed since Earth's awakening, and humanity had transformed beyond recognition.

The world that once existed—a fragile civilization ruled by money, politics, and artificial borders—was now a memory lost in the depths of time.

Now, only power mattered.

---

The Grand Citadel – The Pinnacle of Civilization

At the heart of the world stood the Grand Citadel, no longer just a fortress but a futuristic marvel.

A colossal city floating above the land, covered in shimmering barriers of energy, protected by thousands of mechanized sentinels and plasma defense grids that could level entire mountains.

Within its bounds, floating cars and anti-gravity ships soared through the air, weaving between towering skyscrapers of gleaming metal and crystal.

The Six Families ruled from the Sky Palace, an orbital station suspended in the upper atmosphere, overseeing their dominion with absolute authority.

The five sub-bases on every continent had grown into mega-cities, each a reflection of the ruling family's influence:

Atlas Stronghold – A city of giants, where the descendants of the Titan Bloodline trained their ever-growing strength.

Silverveil Enclave – A place of mysticism, where witches and sorcerers shaped reality with their advanced spells and alchemy.

Cyberion Nexus – A mechanical empire, where werewolves fused with cybernetics to become apex predators of flesh and metal.

Nocturne Bastion – A kingdom of darkness, ruled by those whose demonic bloodline gave them unrivaled destruction.

Crimsonveil Domain – A city of the eternal night, where vampires cultivated their power in secret, their influence spanning the shadows.

Beyond the cities, the rest of the world was still dangerous—a battlefield between man and beast.

But humanity was stronger than ever.

---

The Power System – Humanity's Evolution

Over the last thousand years, humanity had reached the 9th Level of Power, a level few could have imagined before the awakening.

The Power Levels were now clearly defined:

Level1 Noble

Level2 Baron

Level3 Count

Level 4 Marquise

Level 5 Duke

Level 6 Prince/High

Level 7 Elder

Level 8. Lord

Level 9 King

Level 10 Emperor

With nine levels already conquered, humanity stood on the edge of ultimate power in this lower world.

But they were not alone in their evolution.

While humanity thrived, the beasts had not been idle.

Survival had forced them to adapt.

To evolve.

To conquer.

Among them, six Supreme Beasts had ascended to the 9th Level, each reigning over a different domain of the world:

1. The Abyssal Leviathan – A sea ruler who controlled entire oceans, its tentacles capable of swallowing islands.

2. The Celestial Sky Roc – A bird so massive it could blacken the skies, its wings stirring hurricanes.

3. The Infernal Dragon Ape – A creature of fire and destruction, feared for its brutal strength.

4. The Shadow Reaper – A phantom-like beast who thrived in the darkness, striking without warning.

5. The Frostbound Serpent – A colossal serpent that froze continents in its wake.

6. The Hellwolf Emperor – The descendant of the Titanic Hellwolf, the most terrifying of them all, possessing intelligence and hatred for mankind.

These Royal Beasts matched the might of humanity's greatest warriors, and their brutal instincts made them even more dangerous.

A full-scale war against them would demand a price no one wanted to pay.

And so, an uneasy balance had formed—a cold war between humanity and the beasts.

One wrong move, one misstep, and the apocalypse would reignite.

---

While the Six Families and their powerful bloodline descendants lived in luxury, those who were weak suffered in the shadows.

The Grand Citadel and its five sub-bases could not accommodate an infinite number of people.

Thus, only those with money or strength could enter and enjoy the safety behind its high-tech barriers.

The rest?

They were forced to live outside the walls, forming massive outer settlements known as the Dregs Zone—slums that stretched for miles, surrounding each base like a decayed ring.

Here, millions struggled to survive.

Food was scarce.

The beast tide was a constant threat.

The weak were exploited or devoured.

Those who lived in the Dregs Zone had one path to escape their fate:

Hunt. Kill. Sell.

They formed ragged hunting groups, venturing into the wild to slay beasts and harvest their body parts—selling them to the Six Families in exchange for money, food, and the chance to buy their way into the inner city.

But hunting was deadly.

The beasts were becoming stronger at an alarming rate.

And with the slow progress of humanity's cultivation techniques, most could barely reach the Duke Level, making survival even harder.

For the lower levels of society, death was an everyday reality.

---

If there was one group of people the Six Families loathed more than the weak…

It was the Hybrids.

These were the children born from mixed bloodlines, carrying traces of two or more of the Crystals' powers.

At first, they were thought to be failures—inferior to purebloods.

But as generations passed, something unexpected happened.

The strongest of them outperformed their pureblood relatives.

Some gained unusual abilities, fusing their inherited traits into something unique.

Others possessed stronger constitutions, breaking past limits faster than those with pure lineages.

Yet, instead of being celebrated…

They were branded as outcasts.

For the Six Families, bloodline purity was absolute—the very foundation of their power.

A hybrid was seen as an abomination, an impurity that tainted their prestige.

Thus, while hybrids were acknowledged for their talent, they were denied any true status.

The highest rank a hybrid could ever reach was that of a Protector—a warrior who served the family but could never wield true authority.

Even if they surpassed their pureblood counterparts…

They would always be lesser in the eyes of the elite.

---

Despite the struggles of its inhabitants, Earth itself was undergoing a shocking transformation.

For over a thousand years, the constant battles and bloodshed had poured massive amounts of energy into the planet.

Earth was on the verge of breaking through to Tier 2.

In the Lower World, planets were ranked in three tiers:

1. Tier 3 – Ordinary Planets

Lacking world consciousness.

No ability to cultivate world energy.

Weak planetary influence.

2. Tier 2 – Mid-Level Planets

Capable of maintaining permanent consciousness.

Can assist its inhabitants in cultivation.

Stronger planetary will.

3. Tier 1 – Peak Planets

A force of its own, capable of shaping reality.

Able to produce true world-defying geniuses.

The final stage before ascension to a Mid-Level World.

Most planets took millions of years to reach Tier 2, and many never advanced at all.

But Earth was different.

Because of the Crystals, the planet had an abundance of energy and bloodline materials, allowing it to evolve at an unnatural pace.

In less than 1500 years, it was already surpassing what other planets failed to achieve in eons.

And once it became a Tier 2 World, a new era of power and war would begin.

The question was…

Would humanity survive it?
