Chapter 3: I Hope We Never Meet Again

After leaving the room, Dohe turned to see if she could find a garden. After exploring the big house, she decided to rest. The high heels she was wearing were difficult to walk in, so she leaned her back against the wall.

As she placed her back against the wall, it shifted and opened. Luckily, Dohe had stepped forward before the wall opened. She piped [or perhaps "peered"] through and saw the garden. It was very beautiful, with lots of fruit. As she glanced through the garden, she saw someone sitting on a chair with a glass of wine in his hand. He was carefully sipping the drink.

Then Dohe stepped closer and saw that it was Yehosua. Her eyes widened. How she had been searching for a garden she knew nothing about, and then he was there, sipping a drink.

Yehosua turned around because he could feel someone behind him. When he turned, he saw Dohe. He was mesmerized by the beauty this lady carried.

"Dohe," he called with his low, charming voice. Dohe's eyes were even colder than before. Noticing the now furious lady in front of him, he could feel the tension.

He picked up the wine and gave it to Dohe. She was already exhausted, so she sat down. She looked at him for a few seconds and then took a sip of the wine.

After a few seconds of silence, Dohe broke the silence. "Don't you owe an explanation for what happened in the room?"

"Oh," Yehosua said in a casual tone. "And a demon," he said as he stood up. Then he picked up the drink, turned his hand, and the whole garden was on fire.

Dohe was in shock, not because of the fire, but because of the demon part.

For some reason, after her parents died, she didn't fear death. She knew it could come at any time, so she was prepared.

And secondly, Yehosua was also in the garden, so he couldn't kill himself. Yehosua's jaw dropped because the female in front of him was calm and relaxed, even though she was on fire.

"Okay, I knew you were not a human being the first time I met you. Your aura was completely different than a human, but nevertheless, I'll erase your memory of all that happened, okay?" Yehosua said as he came to touch Dohe's fiery head. She used her hand to remove his hand from her forehead. "What are you trying to do, Yehosua?" Dohe asked as she looked at Yehosua.

"Shh, it will not hurt for a second," he said, and then he placed his hands on her forehead. Little by little, everything was blurry again for Dohe, and then she passed out.

Dohe regained consciousness after two days. "Ahh, my head," she sighed in pain. "Why does my head feel so heavy?" she mumbled, picking up her robe.

After a few minutes in the washroom, she went to the cupboard. Looking in the mirror, she noticed something unusual about her hair. "I don't remember changing my hairstyle or doing anything to it," Dohe said, brushing her hair slowly.

She went to her wardrobe and began searching for clothes. After a few minutes of rummaging, she found a yellow dress. Although simple, it looked unique on her. It was a flat gown. Dohe went to her makeup stand and grabbed a hair band.

"Brhhhh." Her tummy rumbled loudly. "Oh, excuse me," she said, even though she was alone. "I'm so hungry. Why is my stomach rumbling? It feels like I haven't eaten in a month! I need to make something before my stomach starts making even weirder noises."

Dohe went downstairs, hoping to make a fruit salad. Unfortunately, when she opened the cupboard, it was empty. "I thought I just restocked it yesterday," she thought. "That means I have to go to a restaurant. But which one..." Ding ding! A call interrupted her thoughts.

She picked up her phone. "Hello?" "Oh, Lisa. Why is she calling me on a Saturday?" Dohe muttered under her breath. She answered the call. "Hello?"

"Hi, Miss Dohe. I'm so sorry to call you on a Saturday, your day off," Lisa said. "But I just received a message from Reached DP. They're holding a commercial meeting for all their contacts, and you need to be there. I can pick you up."

"But my breakfast..." Dohe murmured.

"Oh, we can stop at a restaurant near your office. So get ready, I'll be there soon," Lisa said, and hung up.

Before Dohe knew it, Lisa had arrived and was ready to pick her up. In less than a minute, they arrived at the restaurant. Lisa dropped Dohe off at the front, and Dohe went inside to get breakfast.

As she entered, she heard screams. She turned and saw two people shouting at each other. Intrigued, she watched. Suddenly, her head started spinning. She felt faint.

It wasn't just a feeling; it was real. Someone who looked just like her was there, but everything was blurry. She tried to focus. "My shoes...they look just like mine," she thought. "Is that...me?" Dohe looked closer and realized she wasn't alone. There was someone with her, but it was too blurry to see who it was. "If it weren't for the shoes, I wouldn't have recognized myself," she thought. "Ahh, my head." Dohe felt dizzy. She tried to understand what the people were saying. Then she heard a name: "Mr. Yehosua."

Suddenly, she saw flashes of herself and the other person. "My head!" she cried.

"Isn't that Dohe?" a voice called from an elevator. "What's she doing here? She's going to fall! Should I help her? No, I don't want anything to do with her."

"Have I been here before?" Dohe wondered. "Who is that person? Why can't I see their face?"

Her head was spinning. She collapsed. But before she hit the ground, someone caught her. "Grandmother's nephew!" she realized. He was handsome and cute, with gray hair and pink lips. He was also a playboy, which she disliked. He dated up to five girls a day.

"Are you okay, Dohe?" he asked, his playful expression replaced with worry. Dohe smiled to reassure him. He led her to a chair and got her a glass of water.

"What happened? You're sweating like you just had hot water poured on you," he said, still troubled. He held her hand and gently brushed her hair back, trying to ease her tension.

When she recovered, Dohe stood up awkwardly and smiled. "I'm fine, thanks for catching me."

"No problem," he replied. "Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yes," she said, changing the subject. "What are you doing here? I never expected to see you in a place like this, Dager."

"I...I came to see someone," he stammered. "Then I saw you stumbling. I wasn't sure it was you at first. But when you turned around, I realized it was you and caught you before you fell."

Just then, a man in a black suit approached. He looked surprised to see Dager, then smiled. "Sir, the Lutuiers company just called. They want a meeting in Dubai."

"Okay, I'll be there," Dager replied.

"Well, goodbye," Dohe said.

"Bye for now," Dager replied, and left.

Dohe got into the car. "Ahh, my head," she groaned.

"Are you sure you don't want to go to the hospital?" Lisa asked.

"No, thank you," Dohe replied. "Just take me to the office."

"It's all my fault," Lisa said.

"What do you mean?" Dohe asked.

"If I hadn't given you the key, you wouldn't have had the accident," Lisa said.

"Accident?" Dohe replied.

"No, don't worry about it," Lisa thought. "If I told her she'd been in a coma for a month and lost half her memory, she'd be devastated."

"Shall we?" Dohe said, because Lisa was lost in her thoughts. "Yes," she replied, and then she drove off.
