Some people believe that there's a different world out there, or rather, a parallel world. A world where living beings, things, concepts, and rules exist that we, as normal human beings, can't even begin to understand.
In our world, humans strive for success through achievements to climb higher in the social hierarchy. For many, success is the key factor for surviving in a world where hierarchy reigns. Unlike our world, the parallel world operates under different rules. While death is still a possibility, it can also serve as an opportunity to ascend to a divine pathway. Some beings in this world can live for thousands of years, far exceeding the typical human lifespan of 100 years.
Success in this world is not solely defined by achievements, but rather by power and strength. In this realm, killing is not an issue, and magic, swords, demons, monsters, humans, elves, dragons, dwarves, and gods coexist.
For humans, both worlds offer distinct paths to strive for goals and dreams. Whether it's the divine pathway or the pursuit of power, these two worlds can maintain a delicate balance. However, this balance is not always guaranteed. Eventually, the world where social hierarchy reigns will produce powerful individuals who will bring about change in the world where strength reigns. It all begins with a crack between the two worlds. Those chosen by the gods to enter these cracks will mark the beginning of the end.
