Chapter 3: The Beginning of Training
The grand hall was shrouded in heavy silence. The eight newly summoned princes and princesses were still in shock from recent events. Some stood frozen in place, while others whispered among themselves.
Among them, Ryo, the weakest of the group, felt an overwhelming sense of uncertainty. He had always been behind the others in their previous world. But now, in this unfamiliar land, bearing the title of "prince," what fate awaited him?
The King of Shaar shifted his gaze from the group to the man standing beside him.
King: "From this moment on, you shall be known as the princes and princesses of Shaar. Great responsibilities will rest upon your shoulders."
The man in a dark robe took a step forward. His piercing gaze swept over the eight individuals. He was the Minister of the Nation, the second most powerful person in Shaar.
Minister: "I will be your teacher and mentor." His voice was deep and unwavering. "Your training begins tomorrow."
Kazuki (Boy 2 - the most arrogant one) smirked. "Training? Why should we listen to you? There's no proof that we are actually the princes of this country."
Yuma (Boy 3 - the jokester) chuckled. "Yeah, maybe you just summoned the wrong people."
The Minister did not react. He simply raised his hand. In an instant, the atmosphere grew dense. An invisible force slammed them all to the ground.
Ryo fell to his knees under the pressure. His breath caught in his throat. What kind of power was this?
Minister: "Your first lesson: In this world, strength determines who stands above."
Aya (Girl 1) gritted her teeth. "What… are you… doing…?"
The Minister lowered his hand, and the pressure vanished. Everyone gasped for air, exhausted and shaken.
Minister: "As long as you remain weak, even an ordinary person can crush you." He turned his back to them and said, "The strong rule. That is the law of this world."
The eight princes and princesses exchanged uncertain glances. Could they really survive in this world?
King: "Rest until tomorrow morning. From now on, your lives will not be easy."
The grand doors of the hall swung open, and several servants entered to escort them to their rooms.
Ryo, struggling to stand, looked down at his trembling hands.
Ryo (to himself): I… have to get stronger.
