The silence after the prophecy was as heavy as a moonless sky.
Percy was the first to speak. "Okay... did anyone understand anything?"
Annabeth crossed her arms, frowning. "The prophecy mentions 'Out of the Shadow of Night a Son Has Arisen', clearly referring to Luke. But what worries me is this 'Between the Living and the Dead' and the 'Fallen Star'. That could mean a lot of things."
Lucas swallowed. He wasn't a prophecy expert, but he knew it was never a good thing.
Chiron slammed his hoof on the ground, drawing everyone's attention. "I don't think there's any time to lose. Lucas, if you really are Nyx's son, then perhaps the primordial gods are rising again. We need to find out your role in this before it's too late."
Nico approached, his gaze dark but curious. "If a prophecy talks about you, then you need to go after that 'fallen star'. And I think I know where to look. 'Between the Living and the Dead' could be referring to a place, and I know it very well."
Lucas felt a chill. "Where?" he asked, already imagining the answer.
Nico gave a grim half-smile. "In the Underworld."
